Before I begin Let me apologize to the moderators if put this on the wrong section. Now I have this school work about making a poetry. The poetry has to be about Social issues. My social issue is gonna be about the Israeli Palestinian conflict. I'm hoping maybe you people can help me? Maybe give suggestions.

There are people on ATS who would probably be of better help, but let me give it a shot by asking you some questions, to answer here, or only for yourself as you wish.

What it is you wish to say about this conflict? Are you in favor of it?
Opposed to it? Do you have an underlying emotion or position about it?

What are your thoughts and feelings about it? Sorrowful? Angry?
How would you like to see it resolved? What would you like to happen?
What do you think is the reason for the conflict?

Try first to get an idea about what you want to say. How you feel about it.

Or maybe describe it.

After you know what you want to say about it.....then start writing it.

I'm sure it might require many revisions, but that's okay. You have to start somewhere. But first you must know what you want to say.

Unless of course....it writes itself.......which sometimes, they do.

If this is not helpful, sorry. Just thought I'd give it a shot.

Good luck starwarsisreal!

Okay. Good. You want to express how you feel about the senseless killings. Good. Start with that.

You could perhaps address the people directly in the poem. Tell them how you feel about what they are doing. How it is affecting you, and the world.
