Not true at all. You have a right to believe in certain theories and the right to not believe in others. Many have their opinions on who was behind 9/11, it's one of the most popular conspiracy theories out there.

I can't think of any ridicule on any subject that matches the intensity of those who attack Christianity.

I knew that before I started posting here.

However,I post here anyway,not to win people to "my" side,but in the hope that God's word may reach someone at a time in their life whan it might make sense.

I don't think I am aggressive about it,or confrontational. If people have a problem with the quotes I use from the Bible,then I think their problem is with God,not me.

If people don't agree with my interpretation,that's fine,too!

I only started using the internet at all just last year,when I felt things were getting closer to "the end" than we may realize. God turned me around and pointed me in the direction I am going now,to get His message across.

People can call me a fanatic or delusional,or whatever. I always think there are alot of people out there who are just reading and not commenting,and maybe something I say will cause them to seek God's answers.

One more thing,sure,the Bible has been reinterpreted many times,but God has a way of cutting through all the man-made roadblocks,if only we ask!

As for "proof"...you can't see the wind either,but you can measure it's effects. Millions of people are "livivg proof" of the working of faith in God in their lives.

Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there!

As to the topic at hand,concerning members "rudeness",I have used the "Ignore" button,twice,because I was tempted to be drawn into their quarrels and did not like feeling as though I would let myself be drawn down to their levels.

Besides,there are enough thoughtful and intellectual people here,with integrity,who can see these people for what they are. I don't have a name for what "these people are",but we know them when we see them. People who offer nothing but personal attacks. Very childish,in my opinion.
(Kind of like when anyone criticizes Obama,and the response is,"But Bush did this..."-as if two wrongs make a right!)

I don't mind a thread like this once in a while. It helps to let off steam maybe,and lets the thread-starter know they aren't alone in what they see.

I have noticed this trend but to be honest with you this trend rises and falls all the time in the time I have been visiting this place over many years on and off.

There have always been members who instead of switching on a video game and blowing away a crowd of passengers waiting for a flight to wherever in the name of light hearted entertainment they instead will come here and blow away a bunch of newer members or members who are not versed in staving off such attacks.

Normally I tend to just ignore these posters and note them for future reference as types I will be careful to deal with should our path cross as I am not keen on confrontation if the truth be known. I prefer to be civil and failing that I prefer to walk away but as is the way in these places simply walking away is not possible sometime unless you use the ultimate sanction which is the ignore feature we are all fortunate to possess.

Unfortunately I rose to the bait in another thread and though it is not my normal mode of conduct I let a member have it with both barrels (though I strove to remain within the bounds of the t&c).

I am sorry for that.

At least we have the best moderators on the internet to watch over us – CIA training is second to none (joking mods, please don’t rendition me) :bowdown

Use the ignore feature, I do but out of politeness and a hope that my explanation may alter their troll-some ways I always let them know why.
