I firmly beleive that Islam is the worst religion that the world have ever seen every inch given results in a mile being demanded.

They can say what they like about us but the moment I question Islam I have Islamaphobia.

I have nothing against the people there selfs, skin color, cultural differences but what ever way you cut it Islam is not a culture it is a religion that tries to pass its self off as a culture.

It is a shame that they are so afriad of questions like all religions any religion in my mind should be open to debate, should be questioned and should be able to take critisisum but Islam cannot.

Say anything (in there minds bad) about Islam your head should be cut off.

So I watched your documentry last night Pheonix, just out of curiosity, and it seemed the right thing to do since I berrated you in that thread yesterday.

I have to say I am a bit surprised, however, I still think it's a broad generalization of times past.

Some of the info was very alarming and I agree that extremism is a definite threat and Shariah law must never come to pass in the West or in Europe for that matter.

I could only watch a few minutes of this video. Ms. Gabriel obviously has severe prejudice against Islam in general and Muslims in particular, as such her biased rhetoric is just that, rhetoric. Nothing she says about the origins of Islam has any scholarly basis to it. If you truly wish to understand Islam, I recommend "A Short History of Islam" by Karen Armstrong for an unbiased scholarly account. As for for contemporary Muslims, may I also suggest visiting www.zaytuna.org and perusing the personal ideologies of it's founder Hamza Yusef to get an idea of what regular Muslims think and feel. If you believe as Ms. Gabriel does then I truly pity you, as I do her.

Just to make sure this thread is good and bashed, I'd also like to inform the xenophobic Islam-haters that the Islamic Kingdom of Morocco was the first to recognize an independent republic of the United States of America in 1777 which followed in the Moroccan-American Treaty of Friendship in 1986.

I can't believe how ignorant some people are. just because some people in a certain religion or culture have radical views, it does not mean that the whole religion is the same but some people are so close minded that they see the individuals that the media wants you to see and then they make you believe that the whole religion and every one is the same. Its like saying that all Americans are hillbilly's and are white supremacists trying to rid the world of all colored people, or that every German is a Nazi or what not. Islam is recognized as being one of the top three religions in the world. BTW, Islam in Arabic means peace.

All of you are right in a way.. my thing is this.. If there is any truth to this threat.. if the religion at it's core does call for deception, then at the very least this is cause to be concerned and this potential threat investigated.

It is the deception as part of their religion part that is the biggest problem. If this is true no matter how many Muslim friends you may have or how nice they are or how many Americans they intermarry with or have children with - then you would be fooled and deceived - It is part of their plan.

I believe in light of this the religion and really what these people believe needs to be studied better than it has thus far and any real threat exposed for the good of us all.

That is the only sensible action.

I am not advocating Hate for the people, I am talking about understanding a potential enemy that could sneak up on us and slowly destroy us from within. These people may be just as deceived themselves..

Many American Ex Muslims who are against the orthidox Muslin religion feel they were deceived and are now trying to help us see a big picture that has been denied us. I say we do not ignore this just in case it is true. If only half of what Brigitte Gabriel says is true then that's enough for us to be wary and on guard.

Yes, Technophonium, Normally I would agree with you. Most of the time there are extremist that do not reflect the whole of the religion. But, this may be the first time we have encountered a religion that tells people to use deception to advance their cause. Most religions are 100% against that type of thinking.

This is why the truth of this thing needs to be seriously investigated.

How do you know he isn't paid off by the government or some radical group who's goal is to destroy Islam or any other religion and promote theirs as the supreme one?

Your clouded by the media to hide the true criminals behind the destruction of America, The Financial sector. I mean religion is a perfect example because it can be so questionable and can be taunted and made fun of with no consequence to the persons doing it.

I do not know, and that is a valid point and part of what must be studied. We really need to understand all the players and their motives from all sides to get to the truth. If it is found that deception is practiced in this manner by the religion then that will make getting to the truth that much harder because they will try everything to confuse the issue.

What kind of radical views are we saying? When I think of radical, I think of al queda, Osama bin laden and the likes. They are surely trying to wage a war with the west and Israel. Any radical sector of religion that demands the death and genocide of other is a negative. What good can come out of a radical agenda?

You really have no idea what true Islam is about, and you are a victim of propaganda. Until you read the entire Quran for yourself you cannot say otherwise.

I would like to hear from some peoples in other countries to see how they feel about the Muslim involvement in their lives.

You know, it is funny, no one so far has really watched this video an given evidence refuting it. Perhaps there is truth to it and the Muslim have done such a goo job of deception that no one wants to accept it so they don't talk about it.

That's really all there is to it. Not all Muslims are extremists.

Have you ever spoken to a Muslim? Do you have any Muslim friends? Are you aware that there are currently millions of so-called "extreme" Muslims coexisting with other religions that they supposedly want to annihilate right here in the US? Don't you think if all Muslims felt this way there would be outrageously high incidents of criminal actions resulting from encounters between Muslims and non-Muslims?
