you will gain no respect from the excessive and incorrect use of quotation marks. They are not used to emphasize... they are used to quote.
Sigh...quotations "can" be used to emphasize your "own" words, to "stress" your own "inflections" and/or "points". It is a habit I picked up
from a very famous and influential writer. If he can "get away" with it...then hey...why not me? I understand what you mean there, though you
misunderstand a "literary" device used by many writers in the way I use it here. In all, it is "me" quoting "myself" to underline a "point" or
"points". I am sorry you think the written word remains at a "simple" level with no room for "tone" or creative use of "quotation marks".
Anyways...On to some points people keep making.
1) "Your posts are in direct conflict with your introduction". Well, Alex is in direct conflict with his own predictions and people "defend"
him...so I guess it is no shock that people are defending me on my "rant to Alex".
2) "Speaking about his kids is underhanded" Really? Is it? No...I stand fully behind my point that "this man is a danger to himself and others"
and that he is surly not fit to be raising children while maintaining his "malicious" lies. Social services have removed children from thousands of
homes for less. I truly am concerned for his children and whatever "family" he may have/had...no to mention I am also "worried" for the fragile
minds he is bending for they may just snap one day. Perhaps that is his plan? Find the crazy folks, push them to snapping, and then the CIA arrests
them? It has been done and documented before with various other provocateurs funded by law agencies within many countries.
3) "If a message is kind and loving it matters not if it is a lie". THIS ONE RIGHT HERE bothers me to great levels. As mentioned before, "Hitler"
had a loving message....so did Heaven's Gate, Jim Jones, C Manson, D Koresh....literally countless murders, kidnappers, dictators, you name it.
Adding "love" to a lie just to sell it to "brainwashed" followers is hardly an act worthy of "respect". It is the greatest, oldest, way of lying
and a trick that often leads to many disgusting and despicable ends. If you can not see how often that has been true in your world for over thousands
of years, it will take much more then "myself" to show you that.
4) "I fear the unknown". Again...really? That is far from the truth...I seek the unknown. I am not close minded to the possibility of "aliens" or
"contact". I just don't "buy every sham" at face value. You want to believe in Alex, be my guest...don't be shocked when anyone with a "mind
sharper then a bowling ball" begins to "question your sanity" or your "inability to use critical thinking skills". It is our right to believe
"you" to be absolutely "crazy", just as it is your right to trust in "crazy people" to lead you to truth.
5) "Why have I skipped the fact that Alex has been debunked in the past with his countless failed predictions" It is true that I have skipped this
tidbit of information with this thread. I figured it was already "well documented" across hundreds of websites across the world. My thread was based
on his "newest" interview with Project Camelot.
6) "It is your job to prove him wrong not the other way around". That is very funny and a overly used argument used to defend "liars" who sell
"lies" that "can not be proven". I notice when I reverse this tactic and say "I am right, no I do not have to prove I am right", the
"believers" and "open minded ones" come rushing out saying "NO! PROVE HIM WRONG! PROVE YOURSELF RIGHT!" Incredible...simply...incredible. I see
that this way of "debating your own validity" only works when you are talking about secretly contacted aliens or invisible space-ships over
Antarctica, but when used to defend a "rational" view, it is throw out the window as a "failed attempt". That right there says enough about the
"lack" of "critical thought" shared by those who "fall" for Alex's little stories.
7)"He isn't hurting anyone, leave him alone" THIS ONE really blows my mind...Look, he IS hurting people. Hurting people far more then most can ever
hope/fear to hurt people. He is singling out "crazy" folk and giving them all the reason to "fear total destruction by aliens in the near
future"...Have you watched the video interview posted along with my OP? Did you see the "crowd" asking questions at the end? It was one after
another "fearful" zealots freaking out in total terror, asking Alex "how can we survive this!". If you see no reason to be concerned that a "UFO
Guru" is using his manipulation to take advantage of people's fears...then you really haven't thought this through. Have you any idea, at all, what
a single delusional human can do in a fit of terror? Have you any idea how stable a "zealot" is when his world is twisted into an "end of the world
scenario "? If you are STILL LOST on that...I again refer you to "Heaven's Gate" or "Jim Jones"....never mind the countless other "lesser
known" instances that have claimed thousands (nay...millions) of lives in the past.
8) "You hope I get banned from ATS" Hey...I hope people stop falling for idiots smart enough to brainwash the "gullible". We all have hopes and
goals.
9) "My ego is huge and has no reason to be so". This "may" be true...may not be...all's I know is I am a "big fan" of ego and self worth.
Imagine if my ego was so large that I thought I was the "savior" of the human race...or even worse...the Galactic Pope that aliens choose to
communicate through to the human race. Lucky for me, my ego is not THAT huge or ridiculous.
10) "You think I am super cool, awesome, talented and good looking". Hey...no one wrote this..but I can sense you thinking it. Maybe I am a
telepathic conduit for our species? WHO KNOWS! We can't prove it right or wrong...right?
With all that said and done...I return to my life off the computer and hope at least "one" of these points hit a part of your rational side. If
not...hell...I guess I have wasted yet another moment in effort to spread truth and logic.
Again...I make no mistake is assuming myself a man of grace or "great communication", but I surly do "have" a serious point here (a few of them
actually), and unlike "invisible space ships and holographic technologies from space" My points have mostly been proven by history thousands of
times in the past.
In the end...it is "me" being right...and "Alex" being "harmfully wrong".
Prove it otherwise?
