I still have a lingering question about one particular spot on Archuleta Mesa.
Can someone who has been on the mesa explain to me what this spot could be?
Here is the Google Image of the spot on Archuleta Mesa, north of the town of Dulce, New Mexico.
Is this simply a small pond with some logs partially covering it?
Is this a small dirt mound with logs?
I still haven't the slightest idea.
All I know is that the beam-looking objects are absolutely straight.
From calculations, those beams are about 60 feet long each.
If you zoom in the area, you can see the spot:
maps.google.com...,-106.9555&z=15&t=h&hl=en

As I stated, you have to zoom in.

The exact coordinates on Google Earth is:
37 degrees 01'05.53"N 106 degrees 57'19.77"W
elevation 8443 ft.

Sorry an 06'' needs to be added behind the 39 in second set of coordinates! Neat place if I ever saw 1!

There are some places that are difficult to get to, or just not a good idea to go there. I remember reading somewhere about a building in the middle of no where near the mesa, but I couldn't find it. Please see my thread at
www.abovetopsecret.com...
Right now there is a bunch of snow up there, and I probably won't return
until next year.

I'm not sure. It looks like scorched earth. But if look closely, you'll see it's diamond-shaped, possibly pentagon-shaped. The other one to the east looks even more like a pentagon. But something has disturbed the soil. Both have a definite dichotomy separating the darker areas from the lighter areas...especially the one to the east. It's divided right down the middle. Whether it's related to the underground base is an entirely different matter.

Looks like a bunch of ponds containing logs of the surrounding forestry. What are you people doing? Look at the coordinates I provided above. It's right there. You want more ask and thou shall receive. There will be no super commandos from the MIB to ask anything, the beware of dog sign when there is no dog has always been weird to me.

I'm confused here. All I see is the Coffeyville Country club's water hazards.

Norio my friend. With a the PAN & TILT function of Google Earth it seems that the spots you are speaking about are not shadows made by hills or mounds... they are indeed something else. This is interesting. These locations are worth investigation... remember what Richard (the guide to the UFO hunters) said. He mentioned two holes up on the mesa that he did not want to go to. Possibly these are what he was talking about.

wow. I honestly thought it looked like one of those ground traps you fall in and can't get out of- like the roof of logs fell into the hollow ground--weird. I also saw an odd spire to the west slightly.

Simple pond or marshy area where the tree's have died and fallen over. You might want to use other obvious bodies of water in the same area as a reference of how water will appear in those sets of satellite images. IE: color, reflection, etc...
