I found both of the Reagan statues creepy.

I think it does have to do with the smiling feature....they are like creepy clowns...good comparison whoever said that

while it is totally fine in my book for them to build a statue of whoever they want...it is creepy looking in my book...and a bit odd..but im not Indonesian..so whatever..doesn't hurt me.

lighten up everyone. Just because they made a statue of him doesn't mean he is in place to be a global leader or whatever...and just because people find it creepy doesn't mean they are Barrack haters. I'm sure most SANE people want him to do well and fix this mess we are in.

But to finish up on topic...to me, and apparently to others, this looks creepy. I'm probably going to have nightmares of The Barry and the Reagan With The Hat chasing me tonight.

Could it be that the statue is in honor of an Indonesian citizen who attended school there as Barry Soetoro?
