yeah. the link you prvided in the op brought me to techradar.com. i started to browse around techradar and found the story "14 strange and scary military technologies" and from that article i found a company called metal storm that makes some seriuos hardware.

America's Army is a great game, and has a mostly fantastic community of players. I've been a member since it came out in 2002.
