China needs a direct route to transfer oil to its consumers....The US provides the "stability" from the Taliban Fighters who don't want china to profit off their lands natural resources.

It seems all too clear that the United States is playing the knowing patsy in exchange for a good back scratching.... from a country who is increasingly weary of the US's trade policy.
