But how do you know what happened in 740 AD? There is no physical proof of that except written in some book/bible? Is there?

Well so far the obvious shocking news of the day is that your being called a nazi, and inspired by some sort of hatred for the Jews. Thats brand new (sarcasm font)
As far as the spitting is concerned, these people must truely be that of the Lord because i have been spit on and let me tell you. Ive been spit on a few times actaully, a hazard you assume when playing organized sports with morons, and being spit on triggers something primeative in you. Ive never wanted to hurt anyone more than the guys who spit on me, its an insant drop the gloves and get pried off by the linesman.
So for these men to be taking this abuse for that long is insane. Like you said though morons everywhere, its just sad that this will be viewed by the west as the cost for living with the Jews, You are angering them with your presence so sure they may hurl a loogie at ya now and then. Its simply diss-respectfull and in many other cultures considered to be the highest insult. Isnt spitting your gum out in certain parts of Asia an arrestable offence?

The once robust Christian communities in the Middle East have suffered greatly in the past century.

www.danielpipes.org...

" ... Christians are fleeing from all over the Middle East. Emigration began in the aftermath of World War I and has greatly picked up in the last decade. In Turkey, Christians constituted a population of 2 million in 1920 but now only some thousands remain. So severe is the problem that the Orthodox Patriarchate in Istanbul is in danger of collapsing for lack of large enough pool of candidates.

Christians earlier in this century represented about one-third of the Syrian population; now they account for less than 10 percent. In 1932, they composed 55 percent of the Lebanese population, now less than 30 percent. More than half the Christians of Iraq have left. Copts began leaving Egypt in significant numbers after the 1952 revolution.

The Christian population decline has two main causes: emigration and declining birth rates.

Emigration represents the end of a long process of exclusion and persecution. On the West Bank, a nearly-permanent Muslim boycott of Christian businesses is the problem. In Egypt, fundamentalist Muslims constantly target Christians. The Lebanese civil war of 1975-90, when reduced to its essentials, represented a successful effort by Muslims to reduce Christian power in the country. But by far the worst situation is in the Sudan, where the civil war that has been raging most of the time since 1956 has led to wholesale atrocities.

Declining birth rates can also be seen throughout the region. In Israel, for example, live births per thousand among Muslims comes to 37; among Christians, a mere 22 per thousand. In addition, the small number of Christians leads some to marry Muslims, which effectively means they are lost to their community.

At the present rate, the Middle East's 12 million Christians will likely drop to 6 million in the year 2020. With time, Christians will effectively disappear from the region as a cultural and political force. As one report puts it, "there are more Palestinians living in Bayt Jala in Chile than in Bayt Jala [on the West Bank] itself." Along similar lines, Prince El-Hassan bin Talal notes in this issue that "there are today more Christians from Jerusalem … living in Sydney, Australia, than in Jerusalem itself."

For many years, the plight of Middle East Christians attracted little attention in the outside world. The earlier protectors of their interests—the British, French, Russian, and Greek governments, as well as the Vatican—turned away from the current problems."

They are a law unto themselves, and they travel around in groups. There is always a gaggle of them on the buses, and when i walk on in a short skirt, i become the redheaded whore of babylon who is there to tempt them.. The names i have been called lol... I think most of them have bashed their heads off the wailing wall too hard, and too many times

They are supposed to do military service, yet they dont, i dont know how they get away with it. But they are breeding like mad, and becomming very powerful in israel.. It was them who swung it for Bibi Netenyahu to take the election..

Hi December Rain

Actiually the Turko-Ukranian Khazarian Conversion from Kiev based pagan goyim to Judaiesm (thereby producing the original Ashkenazim between AD 740 and AD 1003, when Khazaria dissolved after the war with the Muscovites and they were chased westward from greater Kiev into Europe) is discussed in depth by a real live Turko Ukranian Ashkenaz by the name of Arthur Koestler, a scholar who has written more than 22 books. The Ashkenazim at the time of the westward diaspora out of greater Kiev was thought to be nearly 300,000 persons.

www.christusrex.org...

There are other links out there on Koestler (who is well respected as a scholar) but the one aboev is a start, at least.

Also another Turko-Ukranian Ashkenaz called Professor Solomon Schechter of Cambridge University took a trip to Cairo to visit the decrept Synagogue ben-Ezra and peeked into their Genizah (attic storing rotting MSS and copies of the Torah that have 'died', sort of a MSS burial ground); amonst the bat-dung and the dust and the fleas and the mites and the smell, he discovered some original letters (along with authorised copies) from the 'king' of Khazaria (whose post conversion name became Yosef) which shocked poor Schechter to his foundations about the non-Semitic origin of the Ashkenazim in Europe...

Prof. Schechter demanded that his shocking MSS discoveries NOT BE PUBLISHED for FIFTY (50) YEARS AFTER HIS DEATH...because of pressure from world Zionism (in 1897 we recall the first zionist world-wide publication of DER JUDENSTADT i.e. lit. 'the Jews' State' - not 'the Jewish State' by the way, that would have been 'DER JUDENISCHE STADT', so don't go there...)

While he was knee deep in bat-dung in the Genizah, Schechter also found among mediaeval 'clean' copies of some Dead Sea Scrolls that had come to light in AD 790 in 'rock Caves near Jericho' from caves 2 and 3 (e.g. 'The Scroll of the Book of the Rule for the Yahad for all the Sons of Light in the Last Days' aka CD) along with some ORIGINAL MSS in the handwriting of Maimonides [Moshe ben Maimon (Hebrew: משה בן מימון‎) ] and some of his secretaries from some Rabinnic archives from Toledo (you know, the one in Spain) ..so it was quite a cache of MSS treasures that Schechter unearthed (only 30% percent of these MSS have ever been published to date--and the Cairo Genizah finds might well cast some light on the Dead Sea Scrolls from the re-discoveries in AD 1946-1956.

Anyway, research Koestler and research Schechter thoroughly before you go casting aspersions/doubts about 'what happened in AD 740'...and remember that there were very pro-zionist reasons why this information is deliberately being kept from the goyim...

You might want to consider reading something on this less than 40 years old. Koestler's 70s flirtation with these 19th Century speculations have shown he was a good political polemicist and lousy amateur historian. Deeper historical research on the Khazars from multiple sources and thorough DNA profiling of relevant populations have shown this to have no foundation in fact. Another myth that some try to keep alive.

covered in the Khazars Wikipedia entry

en.wikipedia.org...

[lslamic history authority] Bernard Lewis stated in 1999:

"This theory… is supported by no evidence whatsoever. It has long since been abandoned by all serious scholars in the field, including those in Arab countries, where the Khazar theory is little used except in occasional political polemics."

[...]

"...The theory gained further support when the novelist Arthur Koestler devoted his popular book The Thirteenth Tribe (1976) to the topic. Koestler's historiography has been attacked as highly questionable by many historians; it has also been pointed out that his discussion of theories about Ashkenazi descent is entirely lacking scientific or historiographical support; to the extent that Koestler referred to place-names and documentary evidence his analysis has been described as a mixture of flawed etymologies and misinterpreted primary sources.

Commentors have also noted that Koestler mischaracterized the sources he cited, particularly D.M. Dunlop's History of the Jewish Khazars (1954). Dunlop himself stated that the theory that Eastern European Jews were the descendants of the Khazars, "... can be dealt with very shortly, because there is little evidence which bears directly upon it, and it unavoidably retains the character of a mere assumption." One other piece of evidence against the Khazar Theory is the near total lack of Turkic influence on the development of the Yiddish language spoken by Ashknenazic Jews.

Koestler himself was pro-Zionist based on secular considerations, and did not see alleged Khazar ancestry as diminishing the claim of Jews to Israel, which he felt was based on the United Nations mandate, and not on Biblical covenants or genetic inheritance. In his view, "The problem of the Khazar infusion a thousand years ago ... is irrelevant to modern Israel". In addition, he was apparently "either unaware of or oblivious to the use anti-Semites had made to the Khazar theory since its introduction at the turn of the century."

Nevertheless, in the Arab world the Khazar theory still enjoys popularity among some anti-Zionists and antisemites; Such proponents argue that if Ashkenazi Jews are primarily Khazar and not Semitic in origin, they would have no historical claim to Israel, nor would they be the subject of God's Biblical promise of Canaan to the Israelites, thus undermining the theological basis of both Jewish religious Zionists and Christian Zionists. In the 1970s and 80s the Khazar theory was also advanced by some Russian chauvinist antisemites, particularly the historian Lev Gumilyov, who portrayed "Judeo-Khazars" as having repeatedly sabotaged Russia's development since the 7th century.

DNA Evidence

A 1999 study by Hammer et al., published in the Proceedings of the United States National Academy of Sciences compared the Y chromosomes of Ashkenazi, Roman, North African, Kurdish, Near Eastern, Yemenite, and Ethiopian Jews with 16 non-Jewish groups from similar geographic locations. It found that "Despite their long-term residence in different countries and isolation from one another, most Jewish populations were not significantly different from one another at the genetic level...

The results support the hypothesis that the paternal gene pools of Jewish communities from Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East descended from a common Middle Eastern ancestral population, and suggest that most Jewish communities have remained relatively isolated from neighboring non-Jewish communities during and after the Diaspora."

According to Nicholas Wade "The results accord with Jewish history and tradition and refute theories like those holding that Jewish communities consist mostly of converts from other faiths, or that they are descended from the Khazars, a medieval Turkish tribe that adopted Judaism."

A 2001 study by Nebel et al. found Haplogroup R1a chromosomes (called Eu 19 in the paper), which are very frequent in Eastern European populations (54%-60%), at elevated frequency (12.7%) in Ashkenazi Jews. The authors hypothesized that these chromosomes could reflect low-level gene flow into Ashkenazi populations from surrounding Eastern European populations, or, alternatively, that both the Ashkenazi Jews in Haplogroup R1a, and to a greater extent all Eastern European populations in general, might have some partial Khazar ancestry.

A 2003 study of the Y-chromosome by Behar et al. found that among Ashkenazi Levites, who comprise approximately 4% of Ashkenazi Jews, the prevalence of Haplogroup R1a1 was over 50%. This haplogroup is uncommon in other Jewish groups, but found in high frequencies in eastern European populations. They argued that "it is likely that the event leading to a high frequency of R1a1 NRYs within the Ashkenazi Levites involved very few, and possibly only one, founding father."

They postulated that one likely source of the gene was a "a founder(s) of non-Jewish European ancestry, whose descendents were able to assume Levite status", and that an alternate "attractive source would be the Khazarian Kingdom, whose ruling class is thought to have converted to Judaism in the 8th or 9th century."

The concluded that "although neither the NRY haplogroup composition of the majority of Ashkenazi Jews nor the microsatellite haplotype composition of the R1a1 haplogroup within Ashkenazi Levites is consistent with a major Khazar or other European origin, as has been speculated by some authors (Baron 1957; Dunlop 1967; Ben-Sasson 1976; Keys 1999), one cannot rule out the important contribution of a single or a few founders among contemporary Ashkenazi Levites."

A 2005 study by Nebel et al., based on Y chromosome polymorphic markers, showed that Ashkenazi Jews are more closely related to other Jewish and Middle Eastern groups than to their local neighbouring populations in Europe. However, 11.5% of male Ashkenazim were found to belong to Haplogroup R1a1 (R-M17), the dominant Y chromosome haplogroup in Eastern Europeans, suggesting possible gene flow between the two groups. The authors hypothesized that "R-M17 chromosomes in Ashkenazim may represent vestiges of the mysterious Khazars".

They concluded "However, if the R-M17 chromosomes in Ashkenazi Jews do indeed represent the vestiges of the mysterious Khazars then, according to our data, this contribution was limited to either a single founder or a few closely related men, and does not exceed ~ 12% of the present-day Ashkenazim."

Hi Mmichael--

Actually Arthur Koestler's book was published in 2000 not in the 1970s and recent DNA evidence from 2001-2005 has indeed supported his claims of a Khazar origin to the Ashkenazi origins in Kiev and its environs. In fact /DNA testing results out of Madrid in 2002/3 were actively supressed by a group of influential Spanish publishers and other right wing racist supporters of World Zionism and the findings pulled off the shelves...so it will be clear over the next 20 years (when genetic testing really becomes a lot more specific and accurate than it is even today and can be compared against genetic samples from say, ancient Cannaanites and benei-Yisroel) that the modern group styling themselves 'Ashkenazim' are going to be in for a VERY rude awakening...I'll post some recent developments later this week for you when I get some time during this Saturnalia...er...Yuletide so stay tuned for a LOT more !

You're going to have a hard time proving Jews along with Rothschilds and Rockefellers are actually Israelites seeing as they miss the description by a long shot.

They are actually Anti-Christs(which means "instead" of Christ) and the Bible did a good job of describing them and what they will do. Esau/Edom is who they are, it reads like a checklist in the Bible.

Its 2009 I think most people have already seen past the smoke and mirrors, honestly you believe a Jew when they tell you they are God's chosen people? That is quite laughable at this point, maybe in WW1 and 2 this would have been believable when they orchestrated the Wars and propaganda to make everyone feel sorry for them and believe they are Biblical Israelites.

Wikipedia isn't reliable when it comes to getting incriminating information on Jews. Wikipedia is here so anyone can write history after a night at the bar.

BTW when the book The Thirteenth Tribe by Koestler came out, the Jews bought out every copy they could from the stores because of the incriminating information in it they didn't want getting out, they then put out an edited version that had parts taken out, thats why there are two versions of the book, too bad the old version got out and many people got a hold of it.

Sigismundus,

Koester died in 1983. Suicide - no new original works. The book in question, "The Thirteenth Tribe" was published in 1976. Writing began in the 1960s.

Without wanting to show too much disrespect ... let's just say your information sources are highly questionable.

Genetic testing on the type under discussion has proven to be highly reliable.

The Ashenazi link has been shown to be demonstrably untrue on numerous levels beyond genetics.

Don't know about your "supressed by a group of influential Spanish publishers and other right wing racist supporters". There aren't a lot of influential publishers in Spain. Almost all are very left wing liberal. Either you can provide a name or I'll consider this and the mysterious secret hidden information to be more BS.

And what was the name of the book Koestler years after his death?

Wikipedia isn't reliable but your information on the Anti-Christ is. Hmmm.

And as Koestler was followed and respected in the decidedly Christian world of High Academia and was even made a Commander of the British Empire,
how is it possible Jews bought all the copies of his book when anything by him would be advance ordered by every library in the world?

I enjoy this thread never having seen so much obvious BS thrown around so fast and furiously.

Hi Mmichael—
Although the original publication date for Koestler’s book (The Thirteenth Tribe, The Khazar Empire &tc.) was 1978, I was referring to the re-=issue via the various newer paperback editions in 2000 also there were a couple of new translations into other languages,

e.g. Serbo-Croat and Russian—which suggests (to me at least) that his work is finally being more widely read than hitherto in different languages: here are a couple examples

2000: Serbo-Croatian edition of Arthur Koestler's book The Thirteenth Tribe: The Khazar Empire and Its Heritage is republished in Zagreb
2001: Russian edition of Arthur Koestler's book The Thirteenth Tribe: The Khazar Empire and Its Heritage is published under the title Trinadtsatoye koleno. Krushenie imperii khazar i ee nasledie by Evraziya of Saint Petersburg, Russia…

So the basic information he outlines about the Khazarian Conversion and the advent of the Ashkenazi as a religio-political group (BTW a lot more has come out since) is trickling out to the masses--at last.
One wonders about some of the reasons why the book did not fully ‘take off’ in the 1980s, but that was all BEFORE the so-called Internet Revolution and BEFORE a wider forum of open minded persons are ‘allowed to speak’

Whereas one could make the claim that in the 1960s – 1980s, the major publication houses (at least in America) chose NOT to publish texts that could be considered disruptive to world Zionism or even ‘world Jewry’ as some people say).

Publication is now far more ‘diverse’ today than it ever was (for better and for worse, some would say !)

I often think of the way the Ashkenaz Dr Solomon Schechter of Cambridge University in England ordered his colleagues NOT to publish ANYTHING about the Khazarian conversion until FIFTY years after his death, the information was so explosive, or so it seemed to him way back in 1897.

In these days of the Internet, the so-called ‘New York Crowd of Major Publishers’ (which are owned by a very few international corporations) in America no longer have the centralized grip on information it had in the past and simply CANNOT stop the publication of new information (about anything these days !) —that sort of thing formerly put a vice grip on the publication of the fragments from say Cave 4 of the Dead Sea Scrolls which showed the pre-Masoretic state of the Hebrew Bible (read: contradictory mishmash of non-alike manuscript families which threatened the Rabinnic claim that the Masoretic pointed version of the Tanak somehow 'defiles the hands') which means that there will always be persons representing ‘the other side’ of any argument trying to stop information which they consider detrimental to their cause, generally by casting aspersions, and not doing any real research on their own

(I think of the so-called right wing fundamentalist ‘Christians’ getting tearing mad at people who after decades of careful research, begin to announce the results of comparing the contents of the canonical Greek gospel material for example—which betrays shall we say some of the myths about R. Yehoshua bar Yosef the Galilean Nazir (Gr. Iesous) , which seems to cut to the core of their belief system and whole Weltanschauung.

The same kind of attitude is present among the Ashkenazim at times when new and advanced genetic testing has revealed their true Turko-Ukranian ‘Khazarian’ origins when they’ve been taught since they could walk that they’re ‘the chosen people’ and directly blood related to the now-all-but-extinct ancient Israelite amphyctionies.)

But unfortunately for those who cling to such absurd racial fantasies, recent advances in DNA testing will (eventually) result in a lot of new hard data coming out among the general public (probably first through fora such as ATS and the Internet in general) but if those poor honest Spanish geneticists who were once ‘silenced’ by the Spanish magazine press can overcome the obstacles they faced nearly 10 years ago, then the genetic-makeup of persons who style themselves ‘Ashkenazi Jews’ will eventually be made more than clear for all to see.

At the moment, it you were to line up 100 random persons in the world today who go by this stylization of ‘Jew’ (e.g. ‘my mother’s a Jew, that makes me one too, I guess !’) it is shown that there is the greatest possible variety of racial and genetic types ranging

e.g. to judge by skin and hair colour, from the blackest black (e.g. Ethiopian persons who call themselves ‘Jewish Falashas’) to the whitest of the white (the so-called ‘white Khazars’, who form part of the many present dayAshkenazi groups), so persons who style themselves ‘Jews’ today simply cannot call themelves a ‘race’ any more (by any stretch of a meaningful definition of the word...) whereas we could consider them more of an ‘ethos’ at best…or better yet, a ‘religion’ or even more accurately ‘a wide range of religious expressions that are grouped under various Judaeisms’ since there is a vast difference in belief systems between say, the ultra orthodox ‘racist’ Chasidim for example and ultra reform members within rabinnic Judaeism who no longer cling to the racist-zionist notion of a master race (er…, ‘chosen people’, which to me means the same thing) but even (Shock and Awe !) regard the ‘goyim’ as ‘fully human’ (and not ‘idolatrous-oxen-beneath-the-level-of-human’ as some of the ultra orthodox racist-Rebbes like to say about persons not like themselves) and…even …(not that !) having souls !!!

Hmmm, from high accademia we have scholars disputing the genetic claim to the so called "holy land" by virtue of race?

From the dust covered books to the real world.. Even though there are many proselytes, they still shared the same discriminiation and persecution as natural Yahuda.

My Grandma identified herself as Yahuda, and got to wear a bright star of David on her arm. Also got to be naked in a park and tweet like a bird in a tree whilst my uncle was forced on all fours, naked of course, to bark like a dog.. Then they were transported to Belsan, where my uncles and aunts went for a very very long shower!!!! Which of course they "orchestrated" so that the zionist world goverment could proceed.. Sarcasm...

My grandad helped liberate Belsan, thats where he met my grandma, and the horrors he saw, propagated by people much like yourself or the previous poster, haunted him his whole life..

People like you make me sick!! You have book knowledge and thats it!!! Real life is usually alien and too much for you.. I have book knowledge AND real life experience and made up my mind and alliegence.. You can do the same, but without being there, having experience, you are nothing but yellow, bigoted frauds who read and read yet experience nothing!!!

Go GOOGLE a life

Hi,

I'm pretty well versed on historical esoterica. Most if not all what you have posted is standard warped rhetoric trying to act benignly academic and truth-seeking, but has the inevitable embedded hate agenda.

Anyone who has had extensive communication with Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus – knows there are vestigial views and passages in any liturgy going back centuries or millenia, that are irrelevant to contemporary adherents.

This attempt to characterize Jews in some demonic light has a long lineage and it's own library of pseudo-history and assembled historical factoids.

There are thousands of scholars in the world, professional and amateur. There are always a handful who have extreme often warped views. Some of them even attain academic positions. The fact that they exist, write, and what they say sound coherent does not immediately infer legitimacy.

I quoted Bernard Lewis on the Khazar story you seem so obsessed with. He is recognized as the pre-eminent scholar on Middle East Studies. He says the whole Khazar chronology was disproven decades ago. My own studies and discussion with others leads to the same conclusion.

A sub-set of self-declared experts with a radically different interpretation means nothing unless they have something that is substantiated. Thomas L. Thompson was a breakaway Middle East scholar associated with the once considered radical Copenhagen School which dismisses most of the Old Testament writings as mythology incorporating Assyrian, Bablyonian, Hittite, Egyptian precursors. But these people have proven their case with extensive documentation, corroboration from multiple independent sources, the archeological record.

Lone gun nut experts with a whacko thesis are common to every field. Being controversial does not mean being right. Zacharia Sitchin translates Sumerian texts and produces endless data showing how humans were bred as cattle for alien visitors from some planet called Niburu. It’s all pure garbage. But it sells books and some people buy into it.

Your Khazar pseudo-scholarship with it’s secret repressed publishing history isn’t that far away from this. A built in audience of race obsessed haters who feel the need to justify themselves with quasi-historical nonsense.

They may pick up the odd convert on conspiracy sites. The young, the gullible, the semi-literate. People impressed by scholarly name dropping and appeals to legitimacy.

Intelligent aware types know what's going on.

The Ultra Orthodox Jews, often spit on more liberal secular Jews as well as people with other religons. They are nutbags basically, and becoming very powerful in Israel due to the demographics. They have many more children than other Jews, which is obviously a political issue as they have to be appealed to more by the political parties in Israel.

This could be a reason they are allowed to get away with this.

Hi Salahobed & Mmmichael--

I am fully aware of the horrors of war (read the heinous book of Joshua written by the same warped xenbophobic sexist racist zionist 'chosen people' groups who cobbled together the post exilic heinous book of 'Deuteronomy', which (shock and awe !!!!) forms a part of the supposedly ancient 'Torah', the absolute CORE of modern rabinnic Juidaeism) if you want a SOLID taste of genocide-language and hatred of humanity

(cf: 'if any son of Belial should say, let us worship OTHER clan-gods OTHER than YHWH your own clan god, you MUST genocide them all, exterminate every one, men, women, children and animals'--and this vomit is placed into the moujth of the clan god of the Jews in their un-Holy Torah (read Deut. chapter 7, Deut chapter 20, Deut chapter 13 a couple hundred times in English, if the paleo-Hebrew is too much for you to comprehend). I wonder what the animals did to deserve extermination? Rub the wrong kind of goat blood on the wrong high priest's toe, maybe ?

'And Joshua genocided the inhabitants of Ai..according to the exact words of the oracle of YHWH'' -- these words related back to the genocidal commands in the Torah outlined in Deuteronomy chapters 7, 13, 20 &tc.

And if (for whatever reason) you do NOT see genocide and extermination policies that are outlined and COMMANDED in the text of the 'Torah' used as a core text of rabinnic Judaiesm, then go out and take a paleo-Hebrew course and learn some basic paleoHebrew vocabulary and syntax and read the text a couple of hundred times until you fully understand what actually is being said---the anti-gentile xenophobic racist vomit in the Torah at times rivals the racial vomit in Mein Kampf (but then you'd have to take a German course, I suppose)

FYI: My own people were genocided right along rhe Ashkenazim in the Nazi Death Camps in the early 1940s.. having ALSO been singled out and also marked with their own branded insignia, so I have no truck with Herr Adolf Hitler, in case that it what you were thinking.

But back to the Ashkenazi race v. religioin conundrum--as DNA testing improves over time in this century we will be able to trace the genetic lineage of persons around the globe more or less conclusively (these tests are on going) and a LOT of persons would like to have this information kept secret for their own reasons: the only issue for them is the Internet and the sharing of information at a speed today that has never occured before in history on such a world-wide scale.

What I doubt is (like the Dead Sea Scrolls coverup and all the concomitant lawsuits about keeping the findings from the masses of 'believers' among the churches and synagogues) that this NEW information will come out easily---but it WILL come out eventually:

And the Ashkenazi community will have to face facts (one day..) just as world Jewry had to face the eventual facts of archaelogy (which do NOT suport the haggadic midrashic legend-based origin-myths of the Hebrew amphyctionies outlined in their heavilly redacted and re-written 'scriptures' especially in relation to their physical and ideological origins viz their exact relationships with the Canaanites etc.) and just as 'rabinnic' world Jewry will eventually have to face the fact that they have no authoritative single 'old testament' text to work with at all -- just a mishmash of junk MSS no two exactly alike before the year 400-- and the MT-Masoretic text of vowelled (pointed) Hebrew scriptures c. 960 AD ('a text so holy it defiles the hands !') is a VERY late development compared to the much more fluid textual MSS traditions of their ancestors (witness the unpointed fragments from the Hebrew Vorlag underlay to the Greek LXX Septuaginta that was discovered in Caves 1-11 between 1946-1956 which the Rabbis (shock and awe !) who read it were horrified to discover writing in the margins and over a 20% letter for letter difference in the consonantal text when compared to the later Masoretic).

This information is NOT pseudo-scholarship nor is it wacko left-field scientific nonsense but is merely highly EXPLOSIVE (politically and religiously dangerious) information that is NOT easily digested by persons who hold on to their 'sacred origin myths' (at least, until recently) with the common masses of people any more than the Ashkeanzi Khazarian goyim-conversion history will readilly come out on the 'national press'...it will gradually be leaked to the world over time so as not to cause anguish among 'believers' in the 'zionist myth' which has done nore harm to humanity than good over the centuries and (like the idea of a single inspired divine text for the 'bible' rammed down the throats of gullible believers) will eventually have to be jettisoned altogether--and bring modern 'reform' (i.e. cleaned up) Judaeism back into the fold of a non-racist, non-sexist humanity where ALL people are created equal and there are no master races...er...chosen people (I get my racist language mixed up some times) !!

Your absurdly contorted sentence contains an absurdly contorted message.
Jews consider themselves a master race but your revealing their true Khazar origins will expose the world to the truth.

Is it considered bad form to tell people their theories are lunacy? Inferring the mental health of the people who believe them.

Hi Mmichael--

Run on sentences are half the fun on ATS threads...

If you really believe that the concept of a 'chosen people' is fully acceptable in the 21st century and does not represent the absolute height of arrogance, then I suppose we have no discussion here...if any concept is 'absurd' that one is--at least to thinking persons: hopefully you won't stoop to defending anything like it on this thread or anyone else...

The point of our discussion here is to argue that 'new information' (especially in these days of new and faster information where that information might be startling to some people, as it was to Prof Solomon Schechter of Cambridge way back in 1897 when he sent out his urgent memos not to publish what he had learned about the Khazarian conversion in the 9th and 10th centuries AD) that cuts down the sordid myths of the past (about anything or any group for that matter) that are not suppoorted by facts or material evidence (archaeology, for one) are never quickly or easily eradicated.

It always amazes me how people will cling for dear life on to traditions they've believed to be true(no matter how absurd or baseless) just because they've been told it was so since childhood...yet many people are beginning to open their minds to new information (and a whole new Weltanschauung at times)

We're living in interesting times, you and me, and everyone on this thread for that matter...and there is a great deal of 'new informatiion' that will be revealed over the next 20 years (deis voluntatibus) with all the rapid-fire information exchange going on in the Internet World that will cause many of us to say 'fasten your seat belts, your'e in for a bumpy ride...'

I'm out of town this weekend, but I'll post some links up for further discussion on all of this -- some of it quite startling and unsettling for some people listening in---which should make it interesting

This is all idiotic. If you knew anything at all about anthropology and religions you'd know immediately that virtually all early tribal cultures had myth cycles in which they thought of themselves as some deity 'chosen' or 'special' or 'annointed' people. Check out the translations for the names of North American Indian Tribes.

Then you name drop some fruit loops prof at Cambridge in the 19th Century and his looney tunes pet theory as representative of anything. There are thousands of nutty academics with nutty theories. So What!!

It's apparent you completely lack the ability to differentiate credible substantiated information from nutbar theories.

You try to use old discredited bunk information from Jew-hating sources to push some obvious agenda. If you just came out and said "I hate Jews" at least you would be credited for your honesty. Instead we have to listen to pseudo-scholarly gobbledygook rantings.
