Less than two hours ago, this phenomena was observed over northern Norway. No one knows what is is. Do you have any idea on what it might be? If so, let us hear about it.

Google translated article

In the morning rush hour, at 07.47, showed the special phenomenon in the sky. It is described as a glowing ball in the sky, which rotated and "thrown out" luminous rings. The phenomenon grew rapidly in a spiral, with bright white rings towards the edges and blue, bright rings in the center. Spiral grew steadily larger, until it eventually was significantly greater than both the moon and other things it will be normal to find in the sky.

"Spiral" also walked across the sky, leaving a bright blue track.

[---]

The whole thing lasted just under one minute and then spiral in the sky collapsed, leaving it in a dark, circular "hole" in the night sky.

This is is super cool
Its so pretty! but prolly capable of killing millions lol! A sound vortex? Rocket?
I hope someone can tell us what it is? I searched spirals, and the only other mention on Google is like smoke columns in Canada.
Are they some type of Aurora affected by air currents?

S and F

The black hole is odd. What was the weather conditions there? Ill ask OZ to get us a reading

Wow! how interesting! Does anyone on here know if it's a weather phenomenon or something else? I've never seen anything like it before, the spiral is so perfectly even, this was my favourite picture on the link you provided - thanks for posting it!

Also, a link to a video showing the "explosion" of the disk of light.

Thanks for more pictures! some of them kind of remind me of the bat signal being shot into the sky
, then some look like aurora. Those strange rings around it are the most intriguing!

Wow! WTF is that?
I wish I could see something like that.

They are gonna say its just an optical illusion caused by "Ice crystals"

That is some weird stuff. I hope it's aliens but I'm sure phage will find a natural explenation.

I can't wait to hear the "phage-ism" that makes it sound so reasonably average.

With oz man not being sure I am wondering. This is a very cool effect, whatever it is.

Thats seems plausible.

If there was enough ice or humidity in the air, the light from the bootser couldve refracted off that producing a coronal effect.

Too tell the truth, Im completely stumped other than that

from this it looks like point of origin is behind the mountain, terrestrial. IS there a research or military facility there?

I thought about a rocket launch because of the trail and then Oz's idea of the FogBow could be right on. It is awesome whatever it is!
