Why is the media bent on attacking liberals?

Everytime I turn around some moronic group is trying to connect liberals with the likes of terrorists, fear mongerors, and this somehow evil and Satanist?

Remember the parents from the Obama speech from this past Sept that said "I don't want my kids indoctrinated into liberal idealogy"? I'm sorry, I do not want the next generation growing up to be filled with hate. If the future is going to be about stepping over people, lying about people just to get a promotion, getting someone locked up over falsified and trumped up charges then it is not a world I want to be apart of.

How is being a liberal automatically make someone a socialist? If that's the case I'd rather be a socialist as that means I have the comprehension and capability of caring about someone else besides myself. This reiterates in us and doesn't allow us to lose our humanity as well as not losing compassion. Those who think liberalism is wrong ya'll need to have your soul examined. God does not want us to live with hate in our hearts or live like our yap don't stink while those who have the unfortunatecy in not being able to make as much as you as being somehow beneath you.

Since when has it become a crime to think a certain way? To act a certain way? When did we become a Neo Conservative dominated nation? Anyone remember the last time a nation declared all other views to be illegal? We got the rise of the Third Riech. Most of your right wing lunatic fringes are being led blindly into forfieting your rights to get ya'll riled up over nonsense instead of the true enemy of America - The Rothschilds, The Rockerfellers, The entire NWO cabal. Not some half brained rejects who live in a damn cave half a world away.

For all you GOP people who are willing to blame the last literately 50 years on Obama ya'll seriously need to have your head examined. Since JFK there has been like 5 Republican Presidents, Nixon, Ford, Regan, 41, 43. Most of this crud occurred on the watch of a GOP Pres. Let us never forget this.

To truly understand the "Left v Right" paradigm is to look at The WWE for example, in front of the cameras they are bitter enemies, behind the camera's they are the best of friends. The same thing applies to the "Republican v Democrat" issue. Both are bought and sold by the same groups.

I truly hope that we all can kick both the mammals and pachyderms to the curb and start anew and do hope that we can actually put someone up there who will work for us instead of the same of crud we've been dealing with the last 100 or so years.

They control both parties, clear dominance on the media. They are pitting every single one of us against the other instead of at them. Why else would they spend north of $2 Trillion a year dividing us for if they didn't have a nefarious motive? Why do you think there are more diseases now then ever before?

So, the next time you rightes wants to blame a liberal for all of the problems of the world.

Joe The Republican - Author Unknown.

Joe gets up at 6 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. With his first swallow of water, he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to ensure their safety and that they work as advertised.

All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer's medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance - now Joe gets it too.

He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Joe's bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.

In the morning shower, Joe reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained.

Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some environmentalist wacko liberal fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air.

He walks on the government-provided sidewalk to subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.

Joe begins his work day. He has a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some lazy liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Joe's employer pays these standards because Joe's employer doesn't want his employees to call the union.

If Joe is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, he'll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some stupid liberal didn't think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune.

It is noontime and Joe needs to make a bank deposit so he can pay some bills. Joe's deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some godless liberal wanted to protect Joe's money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression.

Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and his below-market federal student loan because some elitist liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime. Joe also forgets that his in addition to his federally subsidized student loans, he attended a state funded university.

Joe is home from work. He plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive. His car is among the safest in the world because some America-hating liberal fought for car safety standards to go along with the tax-payer funded roads.

He arrives at his boyhood home. His was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers' Home Administration because bankers didn't want to make rural loans.

The house didn't have electricity until some big-government liberal stuck his nose where it didn't belong and demanded rural electrification.

He is happy to see his father, who is now retired. His father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn't have to.

Joe gets back in his car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. He doesn't mention that the beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day. Joe agrees: "We don't need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I'm a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just

I think its Fox "News"

He who yells loudest attracts the biggest crowd.

Doesn't make them credible...OR worth while.
But that is why we have terms like "idiot masses" or "Moronic Masses"

Its better to assimilate all perspectives of a situation and make your own decision.


Don't dribble on yourself like MSM and have knee jerk reactions whenever someone attacks a "liberal" or someone attacks a "Conservative"

I dont think the media is bent on attacking liberals. I dont think the media is bent on attacking conservatives. I think the media will play to whats socially and politically popular at this point of time, until such it changes. You get folks complaining about the "liberal media" then you get folks complaining about the "rightwing media".... and what these folks continue to forget is that at the end of the day the media is out there to appeal to which ever topic will most maximise their viewers and profits. I dont think any media big cat is going to give a damn about whats politically accurate or bias so long as his getting his or hers money worth.

Sure we could argue that media outlets like fox news appeal to one segment, but then again they choose to milk their profits out of one demographic.

Thats not to say everything in the media is inaccurate but it is the overall basis and motives for choosing to display and present whats what.

gee, i dont know. why did we hear the same hate and anger when republicans were in office from the liberals? maybe because the other party is pissed that they are not in office. liberals referred to bush as a nazi and a warmonger ect ect ect and all day on msnbc all u heard is conservative bashing. now that liberals are in office, its time for liberal bashing. got it? that said, liberals deserve all the bashing they get.

90 percent of the media is firmly in the pocket of the adminstration and you are whinning about the other 10 percent. I read a thread a while back about paid posters and honestly this thread I believe fits the bill. I must admit I am happy to see they do not hire the sharpest tools in the shed. The propaganda is weak at best. There must be a million things you could point out that is wrong with the right and you choose this. I might be wrong and maybe this is not just a sad attempt at stirring the pot. But that would only leave that you honestly believe this. I find that hard to believe considering you could not make the case if you wanted to. And if you do honestly believe this and think the entire media is out to get the liberals have one of your friends help you remove your head from your backside.

If I'm not mistaken but doesn't the party in charge usually get protection from their base and media contacts while they are in office to enforce and reiterate the agenda of those backing you as well as the agenda of that of the party itself?

Hence why Fox protected Bush and NBC seems to be backing Obama thus far.

I mean you literately do not hear of anything potentiality incriminating to any of this "Ruling Class-NWO" type shadowy groups.

I do agree with The Guardian that the media always plays to its consumer base. If every company out there didn't the entire system would crash never able to recover.

It's like if it was going on one channel then tradition still applies, but to hear about it on all - BBC, NBC, FOX, CNN is really disturbing to me. It's like we are being prepared for the rise of The Fourth Reich or something like it.

I'm just wondering if what I've/we've been seeing unfold and playout as of late are we to assume the new Final Solution is right around the corner?

I think the media is setup just like the Repub Dem paradigm.

Just another divide and conquer technique. What is so awesome about their technique is that people falling for the paradigm help reinforce it.

Mind control technique, have two opposing sides and have them attacking each other all the time, if at anytime the man behind the curtain is seen, all you have to do is have one or more of your paid sides of the battle call him a Dem or Repub plant or whatever.

Never let anyone be able to show the man behind the curtain.

This is where you bring in the Conspiracy Theorist rhetoric, ignore, ridicule etc.

They have this # down pat, many fall for it year after year.

Use it in war, economies, politics hell, everything. The only time you need to actually suppress anything is when you accidentally let a Patriot into one of the leading sockpuppet roles-e.g. JFK That is the ONLY time they have to do anything really sinister.

Is it possible to say that the PTB wants liberals to hate conservatives and conservatives to hate liberals? Better to stop the hate and start listening to each others basic desires, than try to make someone conform to your own. There are so many degrees of being liberal or being conservative, that it is highly inappropriate for anyone to lump anyone into a category.

I don't know why the rightie 'usual suspects' are carrying on about your premise. Some media promotes a liberal mindset...others fuel a conservative agenda. (My choice of words is no accident, just illustrating the weight of verbiage once again.)

I'd say that the media weighs in about even...right and left...and you tune in based upon those who best represent your values. Looks like a no-brainer to me, so why the indignation?

Not only is this the most funny post I've read today, it's actually been flagged a few times. If someone actually thinks the media leans to the right that would help explain a lot of things about the USA I don't understand.

FOX and talk radio tends to...CNN and MSNBC doesn't. Everyone seems well served to hear what they want to hear.
