What would happen if all people of all faiths/spiritualities/philosophies/traditions/non-faiths, etc. suddenly had the opportunity to leave this planet and settle on a planet where all the inhabitants held the same beliefs that they held? Would you be willing to go? There would be no need (or excuse) to judge, convert, kill, or blame anything on anyone (or any country) just because they held a different belief, nor would there be fear that the same would be done to you. Would Planet X,Y, Z, etc. be a peaceful utopia? Would it have any of the same problems that we currently face here on Planet Earth such as war, poverty, famine, etc.? Why or why not? What would life be like on a planet with a One World Spiritual System that everyone voluntarily espoused? Would dissenters be allowed?

You make a good point. This is difficult subject matter, but I tried to make the general idea as simplistic as possible, especially for those who think in black/white terms (my way or the highway). You might belong to the Eclectic Spirituality Planet.

Yeh I guess I would be willing to go, just so I can say I've been to another planet. But you'll find that if someone went to another planet where EVERYONE had the exact same belief system as you, then there would be no individuality. Thing's would start to get boring because human's need some sort of social interaction with another being. But I mean lets face it, who wants to have a conversation with themselves so to speak.

Oh yeh and just answering your statement of, ''There would be no need (or excuse) to judge, kill, or blame anything on anyone''. You'll find that with us humans being probably one of the most violent species to ever come around in the Universe, any bet one of us would find a way to as you say ''judge, kill, or blame'' th other inhabitants of the planet for something. It's just the way we are.

i think that the thought of leaving earth for a nother planet. unless the earth is to be destroyed. is something that is too hard to even consider.

it would be very diffucult in adapting. the gravity. the days would be longer/shorter. never seeing earth again in it nature, would destroy my mind personally.

i feel very connected to this planet, and wold not want to leave it unless i have to.

The problem does not lie within religions but within religious people following religious politicians.

If the whole world went I would stay, without a doubt. There is a higher chance the leadership will become corrupted once humans touched down on their planet. So why spread the virus to someone elses door step? Let's just keep this virus here.

You brought up a point that I almost mentioned in my OP but figured that it would be a given which is why I left it out. I guess I should have mentioned that all of the planets would be at the very least 'Earth-like', meaning that they would be able to sustain human life as we currently know it. I don't know if it would be possible for all planets to look exactly the same, but my vision was that they'd at least look similar. Thanks for your reply.

I discovered a cult film.

Kin-dza-dza!

Two Humans, "Uncle Vova" and "The Fiddler" accidentally find themselves on another planet after pushing the wrong button on the strange device in the hand of an odd hobo, claiming to be an alien. Planet "Pluke" in the galaxy "Kin-Dza-Dza" looks like a desert. All "aliens" look human, and can understand Russian, after reading uncle Vova's mind. Their own language is mostly telepathic and is limited to 11 words - 10 plus "koo" - all other words. The whole paradox of Pluke is that their civilization is much more advanced than ours in time and space traveling, weaponry and so on, but totally barbarian in the social way. There is a special (and only) way to identify two groups of creatures by pointing a little device on the person, orange light - "Chatlanian" (superior), green - "Patsak" (lower class). The most valued things on the planet are matches (or, rather, the chemicals ordinarily used on Earth for match heads). One match head equals to 2200 "chatles". Uncle Vova and Gedevan "the Fiddler" Alexidze, have a long and dangerous journey in order to get home..

The film is a parody of human society, being a grotesque сaricature of both monopolistic, egalitarian socialism and hideous pseudo-technological capitalism, as seen through the eyes of common Soviet people during the mid-80's when the social changes there were just beginning to take place. It is a cult film, especially in Post-Soviet countries, and its humorous dialogue is frequently quoted.

I think that many of the politicians who use religion as a platform just do it to get elected. The days for using pretentious religious convictions for voting purposes are numbered because the older generation who were raised on and honor those convictions are slowly dying away. I've noticed that the younger generations are more concerned about secular and environmental issues which is why subjects such as climate change are hot topics of debate right now. The world changes as society's values change. The platforms that the politicians espouse mirror those changes. The joke was on us. Obama didn't bring change; change was already here. We are always changing.

gazerstar,

The same problems would repeat on this 'new planet' too......because the word 'belief' that you are using.....

Belief is: 'faith' or 'opinion'....it's not 'truth'....

I would like to live on a planet where everybody lives in TRUTH..

PEACE and LOVE...

You bring up another good point.
Let's say that the religion planets already have inhabitants who already terraformed the planets and built thriving cities/farms/villages. The current occupants, being fellow brothers and sisters of the faith, are glad to see you, welcome you with open arms, and help you get settled in on your new planet. All you have to do is show up, live in and/or help build your house, and find a job working in your trade (or a new one). Would you go if starting from scratch as far as housing, work, and creature comforts wasn't an issue?

I'm glad that you brought that up.
What is Truth? What if Universal Truth is ultimately unknowable, at least at our current level of understanding and development? Would that mean that everyone's Truth is different and specifically designed for that person at that particular stage of development? Can any level of Truth be untrue if it all stems from the same Source of Truth? When is Truth complete, and how do we know it when it is? What if Truth has nothing to do with Logic or Emotion or any thoughtform or idea that our human brains can possibly construct? What if Truth is Perfection? Being imperfect beings, can imperfection recognize perfection for what it truly is or can it only recognize the mere shadow of what imperfection thinks that it should be?

Just for the record, I'm not arguing. I'm totally feeling you because I feel much the same way!
I'm asking for discussion purposes. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I think you hit the nail right on the head with that sentence...

In our 3D illusion that we are living in, polarity really doesn't give us the opportunity to live in truth...maybe we'll experience it when we move on to 5D..

I would be willing to go only if everyone followed the Law of One, the sense of spirituality that bring forth true peace and enlightenment.

I think many people would like to go on other planet : this is maybe the same fealing that force us to visit other country (today and in human history ).

Not a bad idea : but you need to be fully a dreamer because you don't know what will be the other "planet".

I love that : real aventure !

www.uri.org...

Other attempts at One World Region were called Evolution and Big Bang Theory.
