Your government does it daily with food stamps, welfare and other programs. The Native Americans are just catching up on the government's giving.

who decides who is a "native"- Nick Griffin is lambasted by liberal left freaks for suggesting their is a "native" community in the UK, how do the "Natives" in America delineate it
Also, could I be a native american (at least while this free cash is being handed out to a pack of chancers)

Interesting point. When exactly do you determine in the time-line of man that point in which you are considered native? Based on archeoligical evidence, there are no "natives" to North America. Man, it is thought came from Africa or Eurasia/Persia and migrated. "Native Americans" came to North America north through Central America and South by crossing the Bering Strait, which was close to a land bridge at one point.

Why is a group who came here from another place at one time considered "Native" when another group who came here at a different time not? Do we basically pick a date and say "OK! From now on you are all natives of where ever you happen to be!"

This can also be extrapolated in the reverse. If man in fact came from Africa, why is everyone in the US not an American-African?

You moron taxpayers within the last ten years got bamboozled for $2.3 Trillion (Pentagon hid it under their bed and cannot find it) and $700 Billion (bail out the rich guys who are making big money from bankruptcies) and are complaining about a couple billion going to an abused and discriminated against race of people who do not have a pot to piss in? And people wonder why the USA is the cesspool capital of the world.

Yes I completely agree!

Can someone explain the above?

Not many are going to start businesses because $4,666 just doesn't buy that much. That's how much each person will get. Not really worth sniffing over. Then take into account that the government will get back around 25% in taxes. Well, I'm sure everyone sees the picture.

We pay for what the oil companies and friends profited from and the Native Americans kind of get screwed in the deal. LOL

Pathetic. $1.4 billion for what made someone else twenty times that. LOL

spot on friend, the whole left wing agenda of dehumanising people into different groups is nothing more than a power play and a money shakedown.

Take for example some dirt poor white fella from Virgina, with a family line that has always been in poverty since they first came to America, why in the hell does he deserve squat and some random bloke who may be classed as "Native" deserve some free US cash?

Hi I agree completely with you and just ignore the people who are blaming native Americans...majority of these people are of conservative background and think themselves as superior to whole world...nevermind the illiteracy among most of them.

It's a shame though that for years of fraud only 4.6k$ is being paid...that is nothing at all. Each person should have been paid the full amount + interest + compensation for fraud.

You are the one who thinks he is superior, a real colonial attitude dolling out the cash to the lesser "natives"- why should some dirt poor white fella from Virginia, with a family always steeped in poverty, not receive some cash, yet some fella you like because he appears a bit darker, does- that is a bit racist oh mr colonial man
