Karzai: Afghan Army Will Need Help Until 2024

I wonder who he is expecting to "help" them until 2024?

I think Karzai has calculated just how much time he and his brother will need to amass the amount of money they want. Karzai through his corrupt political dealings and power-brokering, and his Brother through the opium trade.

KABUL — Afghan President Hamid Karzai said Tuesday it will be at least 15 years before his government can bankroll a security force strong enough to protect the country from the threat of insurgency.

Any moral high ground that existed for going into afghanistan initially has long since been erased. Am I supposed to feel sorry for these guys? The afghanis? Why the hell are we their? Why do they let them produce heroin STILL? The USA has gotten it's revenge.
