after release by the airplane the unit would fill with gas from a built in container and get the preset volume (smal,big,bigger...).
the shape could be anything from round to square and the outerskin would exist of mirroraluminium.
this would fool radar trackingstations since they would receive for each chaff unit a radarbleep on their screens.
confussing to see for them what are real aircraft and what is chaff,if airplanepilots are using strategy of altering flightmaneuvers from high & fast to low & slow (angle of attack of plane)

the reason this has been ignored is because if you were in a stealth plane, all these random radar contacts would rather give the game away, wouldn't they. Does sound a bit like the b52s radar decy that fits in the bomb bay and has the same radar crossection of the b52, to confuse radar and missiles.

umm he wasnt mean they activate inside the aircraft he meant that for a stealth plane it would suck cause then every 1 would know ur there

Yeah, its the fact that you pritty much announce your presence with the CHAFF that you give away that your there and as soon as they know your there, it becomes a whole lot easyer to find you.

As long as your totaly not detected, expected or speculated to be there, your pritty safe.

the chaffs are released while the aircraft keeps on flying full military power.
between release and activated chaff is more than time enough to have the aircraft that dropped it away from the site !
the pandemonium comes when all these chaffs are activated and giving kinda so much bleeps on the radarscreens that the radaroperators can't
make anything up anymore of their screen !
that is the real purpose of stealth chaff !
make your enemy wild,bezurk,mad,desperate...

theres a flaw in the plan
the enemy will think there is a larger force so they will really panick and then they will over copensate

drifting in the air aluminium coated balloons with a value of 50 USA $ each ??
no problem ! the more very expensive rockets they fire on these cheap
stuff the more i like it !
each expensive rocket wasted like this is one rocket less to be used
on the real expensive stealthy airplanes.

imagine:you have to tell your commander that you spent million dollars value rockets on nothing more than cheap balloons...what an embarrasment you would get...or what nice shining bullet you could expect on the receiving end after your court martial !

Active Chaff? Stealthy Chaff? Are you sure you all know what chaff is? Folks, Chaff is made of aluminum strips that reflect RADAR. It's basicly aluminum confetti. Second, chaff is design to foil radar by creating so many targets that it blanks out the entire radar screen and prevents the radar from being able to track anything. Chaff is inherently passive.

Now, what the hell is stealth chaff? Stealth is the technology that make planes almost invisible to Radar. If you make chaff invisible, it will not work. I don't know everything, but I think you all need to take another look at what chaff is for, and how it works.
