Penn Hills officer gunned down; second body found at scene

A Penn Hills police officer was shot and killed last night in his patrol car while responding to a domestic call.

The officer was shot with what was believed to be an assault rifle. The body of another man who had been shot to death was found in a nearby residence, police said.

The gunman escaped.

The shooting occurred about 8:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Johnston Road, Penn Hills, and sparked a countywide manhunt.

Police were searching for a suspect identified as Kijafi Fuqua of Clairton. He was described as black, 6-foot 2 and 185 pounds

..."The wounded officer was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian in Oakland. UPMC spokesman Frank Raczkiewicz declined to comment and referred all questions to the Penn Hills police department.

The last Penn Hills police officers killed in the line of duty were Sgt. William Schrott and Officer Bartley Connolly, who died in 1972 after a confrontation while working a security detail at a mall, according to a Web site memorializing fallen officers."

well, I never said it was a conspiracy, I was merely posting it because of the incident last week; as far as i know there is not conspiracy at this point but, give it 5 more mins, there will probably be one..

Maniacle criminal? Do you have a copy of the suspects criminal record, if he even has one?

Define what constitutes an assault rifle.

Stop believing the media and police hype.

A bit of sympathy for the officer's family would be in order here.
