Jona Lewie - Stop the Cavalry



The song was never intended as a Christmas hit, but the line 'Wish I was at home for Christmas' as well as the brass band arrangements made it an appropriately styled song to play around Christmas time.

Best Christmas song ever!! Come to think of it, all the christmas songs produced by Phil Spector (Ronnetts, Darlene Love, Crystals etc) are superb. He had the 'christmas' sound nailed down like his own fine art...pity he's a mentalist.
