It seems like North Korea has a chip on their shoulders and are just wanting to see how far they can push it:

Dear god. This guy is clearly provoking the United States. It was announced recently in our press that we had a destroyer/ship of some sort parked off their penninsula. Also could be retaliation for when we seized that ship of theirs carrying scud missiles.

Wow
Going to be the next Vietnam, you just wait.

Actually its an aircraft carrier as well as the battle group which supports her.

Have you guy's ever heard of a stealth cruise missile?

Koreas technological capacity does not even raise an eyebrow

As far as Vietnam the major issue was tunnel technology which quite frankly is old news. This meaning that applying such technology would not
be prudent.

when they have a few more nukes at the end of this year to put on a few more missles that can target a few more battle groups, then ya i'd say it is something to raise an eyebrow about. even though it would be a waste to nuke a fleet group, unless their battle is THAT desperate, then any threat they can flip is something to worry about. like saying france has nukes that can reach us. that's nothing to raise an eyebrow about, why cause they're our kinda sorta friends. other than that, any time you can be killed, watch out.

will likely get ugly, but it won't be another Vietnam... Even China's getting a little ticked with this little bastard child of theirs... Unfortunately, economic sanctions don't do much to curb psychopaths, so we're likely to see some strikes occur against nuke facilities, but not until they are up and producing... A few tomahawks fired from the carrier group ought to do it...
