research paper topic suggestions

Easy paper, only 5 pages. They trust me to not be a dumbass and do it on something like spoons and their implications in history, but I do need something interesting. I'm really interested in all kinds of things i see on here, just too busy to really learn much. Im thinking this is a good excuse to learn something interesting and get the damn paper done. I was thinking along the physics line since im such a big fan of the unprovable. Ive completely exhausted myself on super strings, but theoretical in general is good, that or just some crazy technology doodad/weapon/toaster etc.

HAARP is a good topic... the technology is the type that many people will immediately dismiss it out of hand as impossible and "Star Trekkish".... until they find out thier government is spending billions on it each year.

I have posted a lot of links throughout this board, and they lead to a lot of good info.
