First off, I would like to say that I thought this would fit in with "Other Facilities." All of us know that in 1991, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics dissolved, and left many towns, bases and areas abandonded. I am facsinated with abandonded buildings, and love to look at pictures online. Russia and surrounding territories have some of the most interesting abandoned buildings and territories I have seen, so I would like to share some of what I have found with you, my fellow ATS'ers. It just amazes me that 20 years ago, these places were vibrant with people and color, now they are just a ghost in the past.

This is just a taste of what can be dug up. Thanks for looking and don't forget this could be the U.S. someday if we are not careful.

Very cool pics. Thanks so much for posting this. I recently got my hands on fallou3 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and it is almost scary how many things look familiar.

I found this pictorial a few years ago.

It is a very interresting revisit of Chernobyl, Pripyat and the surrounding region. If you liked STALKER you'll love this.
