Breathtaking 2.5 GIGApixel image of the galaxy

I think they are different photos.
The one you posted states its a composite of Spitzer, Hubble, and Chandra images.

The one I posted claims to be a composite image only from the Spitzer telescope.

I may be wrong though

I enjoyed the pictures in the thread, but I found them a little too involved..They're great, don't get me wrong, but I really enjoy these nebula photos that are heavy in pastel colors.

This is true. I have been in a "dark night" environment and have seen the true splendor and awe of the milky way. I hope to one day be in such a position again. But it is bright.
