Here's a nice vid of Sen. Bunning raking ole' Helicopter Ben over the coals:
What we need to do is find out who exactly SUPPORTS Bernanke in Geithner and then start blitzing them with phonecalls, faxes, emails, starting
grassroots protests...ANYTHING.
Here's one of them: Sen Evan Bayh, Democrat of Indiana. According to the
New York Times, "Senator Evan Bayh, Democrat of
Indiana, made it clear that he wanted the Fed to remain a bank regulator."
Phone: (317) 554-0750. Fax: (317) 554-0760. Get to it, Hoosiers!
Thanks for posting that friend. Bernanke certainly has no shame, so much so it's safe to say his compensation must be stratospheric to be able to to
willingly endure that kind of grilling.
It's great that some of the Senators are speaking up and speaking out but the obviously troubling thing is how it's seen as a source of amusement to
so many disaffected people evidenced by the spontaneous outburst of laughter from the gallery.
It's more than apparent that the bubbles aren't limited to real estate or insurance but that most of Washington's political elite live in a bubble
all their own that keeps them well insulated from the hardships and profound difficulties their elitist policies create for the American people.
