Blackwater's Erik Prince was recruited as a CIA agent in the years after the 9/11 attacks, says an exclusive report at Vanity Fair that also reveals the billionaire ex-Navy SEAL plans to step down from Blackwater to teach high school.

For the past six years, Prince "appears to have led an astonishing double life," writes Adam Ciralsky. "Publicly, he has served as Blackwater’s CEO and chairman. Privately, and secretly, he has been doing the CIA’s bidding, helping to craft, fund, and execute operations ranging from inserting personnel into 'denied areas'—places US intelligence has trouble penetrating—to assembling hit teams targeting al-Qaeda members and their allies."

Ciralsky reports that Prince became a CIA "asset," or spy, who became a "Mr. Fix-It" in the war on terror.

So, leader of one of the most corrupt private security groups steps down...after being exposed as a CIA front-man and Xe/Blackwater being a branch of the US Military...AND to teach in a high school?? Seems a little...unfitting for him to say the least.

Glad this guy is gone, that's one down!

Your guys thoughts on this?

Dude if can repost the title and say that he has been a front man for the CIA and that Xe is just another branch of the US military.

That's a big story.

Toast. Just do it.

Repost it. The retirement issue was started on another thread anyways.

Change the title. Put it back up and maybe with an explanation on who the source is.

Get yourselves some S&F.

It's a good find and a revellant issue concerning Xe's involvement with Pakistan right now.

Especially since we're going to be there for at least 3 more years, and there has been at least 20% more private contractors than troops on the ground in Afganistan.
