British yachtsmen 'freed by Iran'

Five British yachtsmen held by the Iranian navy for a week have been freed, Iranian state radio reports.

It comes hours after UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband spoke by phone to his Iranian counterpart

The crew were said to have mistakenly strayed into Iran waters as they sailed from Bahrein to Dubai for a race

wow, it was big news the other day with headlines stating the captured sailors were going to be punished, and today they have been freed!!!

Would have been interesting to hear the phone conversation from UK to Iran!

Wonder whats next to hit our MSM regarding Iran. Seems like every week theres something new we hear.

I never doubted that they would be freed.

Iran is hardly Somalia and has in the past released civilians and military alike.

I wonder what Protoplasmic traveller has to say about this issue.

I agree. Its been a on-going chess game with Iran for a wee while now. I cant stop thinking, somethings got to give sooner or later.
