Australian Parliament-Opposition To Get Front-Bench Shake-Up

New federal Opposition Leader Tony Abbott is expected to announce a new frontbench early next week.

More than a dozen Liberals quit their portfolio responsibilities last week amid growing turmoil within the party.

Two frontbenchers, Chris Pearce and Margaret May, have announced they will not recontest the next election, while Malcolm Turnbull will move to the backbench while he decides his political future.

Mr Abbott says he will put together a strong team.

So what do you believe this means in the long-run? Have the Aussies started the first in a long line of revolts against farce based taxation and takeovers?

Also, I am truly interested on some Australian perspectives on this event, and what it means to them and their Nation.

I have to admit, that although my knowledge of British style Parliamentary representation is fair, I absolutely would appreciate some more in-depth explanations of this shake-up.
