I was watching the UN speech of the president of Iran, and it just reminded me of how "uncivilized" the western nations were acting. He stayed for their speeches, but they didn't stay for his, and do you know why? Because he's telling the truth.

The president of Iran is not necessarily a good person, but he does tell some truth when it comes to the atrocities committed by Israel and the blinded defence of them by the U.S.

I think it's still pretty barbaric and uncivilized to walk out during someone's speech, and it just shows the ignorance and arrogance of the "civilized" western nations. Shame.

yes, i agree completely!

the general public is only reacting to media hype though, they are only deceived. they truly believe we westerners are "heroes" and they are the "barbarians"
its sad, really.

but honestly, if it weren't the west it'd be someone. not that that justifies anything on a personal level, but everyone plays their role...someone has to. its the way of this world.

its just interesting to begin to see the way others view the situation, others as in non-westerners

I think stoning is barbaric. I think the ban of non-state religions is barbaric. I think murdering protesters of a rigged election is Barbaric. Walking out on the speech of someone who heads a government that does all of the above merely shows good taste.

And for all its faults, Israel treats Muslims in Israel, far, far better than Iran treats Jews, Christians, or Pagans like myself. Then again, Israel treats Muslims better than Iran treats Muslims.

I'm not defending the president of Iran, but you can't deny that in this time and age we live in walking out during someone's speech is pretty damn ignorant.

By the way, don't forget America killing hundreds of thousands of Japanese via nuclear bombs, bombing Dresden in Germany and killing thousand civilians, illegal wars of Afghanistan, illegal war of Iraq, Iran-Contra, Vietnam, Oklahoma bombings, numerous assassinations, 9/11 inside job, CIA funding the Taliban, CIA importing drugs into the U.S., Mossad staging false flags in Lebanon, Iran, America, Egypt, etc. I can go on and on for several pages.

en.wikipedia.org...

The bombing of Dresden by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Force between 13 February and 15 February 1945, remains one of the more controversial Allied actions of the Western European theatre of war. The inner city of Dresden was largely destroyed by 800 RAF and USAAF bombers that let loose 650,000 incendiaries and 8,000 lb of high explosives and hundreds of 4,000 lb bombs[15] in three waves of attacks — approximately one bomb for every two people. Early reports estimated 150,000 to 250,000 deaths but a recent commissioned report claims there were 25,000 civilian casualties.

well, imo there is never justification for being rude, disrespectful, murderous, hateful liars. even if "they are doing it" that is just infantile.

and i can't say about the conditions anywhere but here in america, but here is full of lies and media delusions...so do i trust anything i hear out of any media outlet? no. so i don't make judgements on other countries or their laws and customs. i DO know that regardless of another civilizations actions or customs it gives no on the right to bomb or otherwise invade or "liberate" another nation in the way america chooses to do so, no?

but i guess the state of this world will never improve because the majority has that child-like, he-did-that-so-i-can-do-this mindset. once we all learn to stop sinking to the levels as those we claim to detest the world will begin improving exponentially.

peace.

Ignoring and delegitamising tyrants is never ignorant.

a) actions in wars are often brutal.
b) the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan were authorized by congress and hence legal
c)None of the "crimes"you mention involve murdering, torturing, or oppressing our own people.

Any attempts at "moral equivalence" between the "the west" and Iran, is inherently flawed. Iran's is a barbaric and inherently ignorant regime.

The NAZI's were backed up by the Global Central Bank, which also backed up America.

So you are saying that as long as you don't kill your own people, then that makes you a good country?

Well, if that's the case, then you are still incorrect because America has more prisoners than ANY other country in the world. America killed its own people on the day of 9/11, and America ALSO kills its own soldiers via illegal wars to defend the Opium fields to fund drugs in America which ALSO kill its own people. America also tests drugs on its soldiers and the poor in their own country. America pushes for Swine Flu vaccines, which kill people. America pushes Fluoride and MSG to kill its own people and retard children. America puts coc aine and lead into their products. 90% of ALL dollars have traces of Cocaine. Again, I can keep going for several pages.

Don't make excuses for murderers.

I kind of have this view that the west is a manipulative vagina, fearfully weaving webs of drama to get the rest of the world running in circles so we can exploit them. After all, she is the center of EVERYTHING, the mystery of mysteries. She is afraid of both men and non-whore women, so she keeps them at odds in a grand divide and conquer. She likes beasts, however, as she can bejewel them. Our soldiers fight for mother country and to perpetuate her vainglory. We send our worthless money overseas in exchange for goods, like some kind of whore of babylon. In the west, there is shame and ridicule and shunning for anybody out of line. You know, you become a "that guy" or a "that girl." The whore is a controlling demoness of sorts, or an angle.

I kind of see the hard-core fundamentalist Islamic nations as dominating dicks, fearfully muzzling and destroying all that creates cognitive dissonance in their worldview. They keep their women down, and force their men to align with the dick mentality. There is stern punishment for anybody out of line. The dick is a controlling demon of sorts, or an angle.

I view it as no mere coincidence that these two "characters" should be at odds with each other, as two "angles" clashing. They exist hand-in-hand, as the one necessitates the other, in a relentless feedback loop. One can only define itself per the existence of the other. Here is to both of these mentalities dissolving simultaneously.

Indeed, I would agree that America is the global troublemaker, always srewing around in other nation's business in order to find an oppurtunity for gain, whether that be political or economic. We better watch out, since I believe that it is only a matter of time before everyone else figures that out at the same time and gangs up on us and kicks our butt!

Great posts everyone! BUT
Being from out west I'm going to take this personally. I'll walk out on any movie I damn well want to.
That said, I like Mahmoud Ahmadnejad's speeches. He sure likes to stir the pot. Not all Iranians like him. Some would just want him to shut up and bring on the malls.
Anyways, I'll walk when I want to.

Well it wasn't the west's fault you know.

The Chinese scheduled a cocktail party at the same time and you know for damn sure all the western diplomat's were going to be there kissing their arse.

we shouldnt be listening to these extremists, we should be taking actions against them. we should not be foolin around on this nuke issue. if a group of people are crazy enough to beat and stone their own people and train terrorists to kill us as the koran tells them to, why would we even consider letting them near a knife much less uranium? last i heard america doesnt negotiate with terrorists...what happened?

If America doesn't negotiate with terrorists, then everyone on Capital Hill should stop talking period.

There's no such thing as "terrorists".

I'm sorry I had to chime in and say.
Thanks for posting the video. I had forgotten how funny that moment was.

You know all those who walked out can't all be wrong.

Linky

British Ambassador Peter Gooderham, also among those who left, said "such inflammatory rhetoric has no place whatsoever in a United Nations conference addressing the whole issue of racism and how to address it."

Speaking to the BBC Radio 4's PM programme, he said of the Iranian leader's accusation of Israeli racism: "That is a charge we unreservedly condemn and so we had no hesitation at that point in leaving the conference hall."

The US, Israel, Canada, Australia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and New Zealand had all boycotted the conference being held in Geneva, in protest at Mr Ahmadinejad's appearance.

You do know the countries that walked out are pretty much the perpetrators, so obviously they are not going to sit there and face the facts.

Such as the question of why the Palestinians are suffering via the Zionist agenda, and how that has anything to do with WW2? The countries never answer those questions because they KNOW it was themselves who backed the NAZI's. You can't deny the Truth, so they just walk out.

Also, you do know that there were MANY countries that actually stayed right? Only a fraction walked out, which shouldn't be leading the world anyways, which is why a New World Order is needed.

America, Israel, England, etc. WILL NOT and SHOULD NOT run the world, and they will not shortly when the New World Order is implemented, and it WILL be implemented.

One of the two protesters escorted out of the conference hall managed to throw a red clown's nose at the Iranian president, as they yelled "racist, racist" as he stood at the podium.

Racist would be appropriate?

Apologies for going off topic about the original post.

I tried running a few searches, but i'm unable to find any good information about it, any help would be appreciated.
