Having trouble embeding links

Just a heads up but from the breaking news boards if I copy paste a link in the box provided it doesn't give me a working link... it's like the URL is wrapped by code tags instead???

If I use the little globe embed icon it works but not if I just paste in the box under where you insert headline..

just to add... IE 8 Vista OS all the latest updates including Java... yadda yadda yadda

It's usually caused by Very Long source links that "breaks" the bbcode. You've probably encountered the same "effect" in thread posts here and there where a Very Long link will end up skewing the page view.

It's easily fixed with an edit of the URL (link) code tags, so if/when you encounter such just pop a U2U to a staff member or just hit the alert button.
