Why the title? For the very reason you posted. To show you on your Left/Democrat side and to show that those on the Right/Repub side that you, the people, are not that dissimilar.

Most of the division in our country, is caused by the Right/Left Paradigm.

I neither belong to the Left or Right, I belong to off the scale Constitutionalists section of the political field.

But I was not speaking of people, Democrats are not people, it is a side of a coin.

Tax and control, control and tax. Do you see the control in the two party system? I hope you and everyone start pretty soon, before our country is gone.

Thanks for your response.

How come it is that even in a place like ATS has been with the trolling, bashing back and forth, this is one subject that we almost all agree upon?

Why is it, that our Govt., both sides, our Admin, Obama, all keep it going, keep our troops in danger?

Not spending on this crap would go a long way to cutting the budget. But on the other hand, they would just spend it somewhere else.

When with the Madness of DC stop?
When will the DC madness consume us all?

Exactamuundo! You get a prize.

Keep it coming folks, wakee wakee eggs and bacee.

Got to love the genius here on ATS. Thanks for your response.

I am here to speak of portents, My name is ENDISNIGHE, if we do not wake to the beast that is our government, all will be lost.

Thanks for your response. If everyone can see this, why cannot everyone see the other sides of the Paradigm?

Why is everyone so blind to our government's only two thing's it knows?

Tax and control.

And now our gov wants to Tax and Control the world.

It took us 30 years to bankrupt the nation.

What plan do you think they have to get us out of that?

My view.

Tax and Control!

I do find it fascinating that regardless of where we are on the political spectrum (I for one am a staunch libertarian when it comes to social issues, and would like to see a integration of 'socialism' - as in take down big business and institute the worker cooperative in a quasi-free trade based system - into our economic system. No reason to destroy the markets for equality when we can just work together
. ), this is one topic we all seem to agree on. Even the staunchest democrats I know are seeing through Obama's facade; hell, even Rolling Stone magazine has taken the decision to "go after Obama" in their latest issue. The editor's column is entitled "Doubting Obama", and they have a several page article on how Obama's corporate bailouts originate in the revolving door between Wall Street and Pennsylvania avenue.

Our country, and the countries of the world have fallen victim to an invisible nation whose soul lies in currency, one that stretches from New York to London to Tel Aviv and beyond. The same people that play in the halls of the multinational corporations in cities around the world are the same that wage wars on the 'lesser countries', but the sun rises and sets on all people just the same. One day this will become apparent

It's funny how the Republicans suddenly are concerned about the costs of war and sending more troops. During the Bush years they couldn't wave their made in China American flags fast enough to get nationalistic support for the war in Iraq. Remember how anyone that questioned the Iraq war hated America? All the time being reminded about 9/11. That somehow questioning the Iraq war meant we didn't care about those that lost their lives on 9/11.

Ironically, the man responsible for 9/11, Bin Laden, was escaping our grasp due the Bush administration refusal to commit the necessarily resources in Afghanistan. Yet, they worked overtime trying to secure a deal with Iraq to keep the troops there as long as possible.

To really top things off, Cheney is now saying Bush isn't responsible for the problems in Afghanistan now. As if, the decision to send American troops there before redirecting much of the military resources to Iraq instead of finishing the job in Afghanistan never happened under Bush's watch. I guess personal responsibility was only a talking point.

This whole thing whining about how Democrats may have changed their support of the war, which many have, while ignoring their own support for the war a short while ago is simply disgusting.

Which Repubs are you speaking of?

Here on ATS?

Or out their in Washington land?

Of course they are, that is what THEY DO.

Dem=Repub and once everyone, including you, realize this the better off we will be.

I agree that there is no difference between the two parties and that we should not be policing the world. Also, where are we getting the money to do all of this stuff? Isn't the deficit big enough already? Is China going to keep bankrolling these seemingly endless wars?

No one I have talked to really thinks we should be sending more troops or escalating the war in Afghanistan, but what we think does not seem to matter to the people in charge of the government.

New boss, same as the old boss.

Great thread S & F.

Thanks for your response amaranth.

Getting the money? From yours, mine and everyone else's children, grand children, great grand children etc etc etc.

A deficit run government has always been THEIR plan. We are slaves to the debt, hence slaves to THEM.

FOREVER

Yes, if their were not Taliban their, there would be Al Queda, if not Al Queda than some other faction we needed to GET.

Okay, now that we have been at war now for 8 more years since 9/11, how many more wars, more terrorists, more governments, we do not like, do we have to manipulate to our side of the FORCE?

It is almost like a script we are playing, hell, it probably is a script.

Thanks for your response.
