As for the Canadian vaccination problem this is one report,

[British drugs giant GlaxoSmithKline has warned the Canadian medical authorities that a batch of its anti-H1N1 vaccine can trigger potentially dangerous allergic reactions. The Canadians have withdrawn the batch from use and are testing it after it produced a range of serious reactions, notably in the heart and lungs. The recall affects 172,000 dises of the Arepanrix vaccine.

“We’ve been asked by the manufacturer GSK not to use this vaccine at this time pending further investigation,” said Manitoba chief medical officer Joel Kettner.

Thirty-six Canadians, including one little boy whose face swelled up like a balloon, suffered severe allergic reactions after vaccination. 200 others died."

“It is a serious thing that has the potential to kill – but fortunately seems to be relatively rare,” said Dr Neil Rau, an infectious disease specialist.

Canada has been particularly badly hit by the flu virus, and has vaccinated around a fifth of its population, or nearly seven million people, already. GSK has sold seven point five million doses to Canada.]

When you read the last paragraph above, it would seem that Canada has a different scenario than the US, or did they go ahead with mass vaccination, (to their cost) using the same presumptuous method as the US and vaccinating people needlessly on the basis of misleading stats?
the quote is from a current ATS thread here,

www.abovetopsecret.com...

It was sourced from this good link,

theflucase.com...

Have a look at Scotland's story while you're there, looks pertinent to this thread.

edit to add,
In fact there is a new heading for Canada, it now reports that there has been very few swine 'flu cases!! the older heading can be found way down the list.

Jane Burgermeister's site The 'Flu case, took the original Canadian story from this site,
www.euronews.net...
You will now see that that same story has been altered, (because of factual inaccuracies) and has now no mention of deaths, where it had previously said that 200 people had died...that's a big inaccuracy!
Now, the changes have come not long after the WHO have stated that there has been no swine 'flu vaccination related deaths??

It's my experience that in the "real world", there isn't really as much hype surrounding the swine flu as some people on ATS (and other sites) would have us think.

Look around you -- does it really look like the average person is really that worried about the swine flu? I know 3 friends of my teen-age daughter who have gotten it (and they all got over it), but neither I, the school, the other parents, nor my daughter is panicking.

We're just going about our normal lives -- and washing our hands more.

Exactly. ATS does attract the paranoid. Over here in Glasgow my partner is a nurse. There is no swine flu panic but there are still deaths from it. Certain groups (like hers) are getting vaccinated, I'm not however, I just had it 2 months ago. Knocked me for six but only for a couple of days, took 3 weeks for my chest to clear though.

I'd think about changing doctors if i were you then!

He is either genuinely promoting the vaccine scam, as something he believes in to be of benefit to you - in which case he is incompetent and probably knows less about this whole swine flu debacle than you do yourself.

Or

He is thinking mainly of the 'fee' (bribe) a doctor is paid by the government (via Big pharma of course) for each and every injection or nasal spray he gives..

You know him best i guess, what do you think?

I always thought that the Swine Flu hysteria was more a function of ATS than actual hysteria in the wide world.
In my world, my family and I would have been happy to get the vaccine if we could have found someone to give it to us. As it was my kids doctors told me the same thing, get it if you can, if not, just watch your child if he gets sick, and look out for the same signs you look for in any illness, high fever and the really dangerous dehydration that could be a real killer.
Fact is, the number of swine flu cases has always been dwarfed by the number of real flu cases (same with mortality) and I saw Dr. Tim Johnson say as much on ABC News months ago.
I don't think Mrs. Atkisson's work is revelatory in any sense.
I think the ATS'ers hysteria over it being some government engineered NWO attempt to kill us all suggest this was always a more insular kind of a hysteria than it ever was outside of this site.

Not to deter from the subject, but the most prominent thing I gathered from that interview is that Dr. Mercola is, I think, in love with Ms. Attkisson.

All joking (maybe...) aside, thank you very much for posting this; very, very informative. Now I just need a way to convince my family that it's worth 10 minutes of their time even though there aren't very many pictures to look at and they will have to 'listen'... whatever that is.

Dr Mercola is quite a controversial figure, he has criticized the FDA in the past, and the FDA on their part have warned the doctor about his methods. Whether the warnings were retaliatory or not I don't know. Buisness Week did an editorial on his commercial website, accusing him of using scare tactics, so it looks like the establishment have got it in for him. We could do with more people like Dr Mercola, a lot of his criticisms of the FDA are centred round the use of vaccinations. He has been against them from a long time back, and also the relationship of the FDA with the big drug companies,

In my world, my family and I would have been happy to get the vaccine if we could have found someone to give it to us

1. There was no shortage of vaccine anywhere in the US. They have surpluses almost everywhere. There was a slight delay in delivery, and there were some lines on the first day of arrival, but other than that, it was not hard to get. There were some significant problems between receiving the live virus (nasal spray) and getting the shot, but those worked themselves out rather quickly.

2. Why in the world would you get it?? The flu was extremely minor, the symptoms were not serious, the risk of death was almost non-existent, but.....the vaccine had previously banned substances......it was not thoroughly tested, it had a poor track record from the 70's fiasco, and it had some obvious and fairly common side effects. So in a cost/benefit analysis, the vaccine was a serious mistake!

If someone told you there was about a 50% chance you would have a car accident that would probably not cause any damage, but there was a 0.001% chance that it would cause serious damage, in other words a 0.0005% chance of you getting in a serious accident, and, for your benefit, they could sell you a cumbersome insurance policy that cost more than most, was likely to get you into a lawsuit, had not been tested in court, and was not guaranteed to pay in the event of an accident. Would you buy it?

I live in Canada and vividly remember the Swine Hysteria. I say "Remember" due to the fact that all notion of it seems to have disappeared around here. From PSA's all over the radio and TV, to even large light-up highway construction signs being converted into route markers, directing drivers to H1N1 clinics within the city. I was even requested to leave work on one day because I "Appeared" to be infected with the flu paranoia, maybe. Nonetheless I went to a clinic (Filled to the brim with patients and face masks obviously) where i was advised to drink plenty of fluids and rest well. I was diagnosed with a cold...

I heard one report and read a single small article about people reacting harshly to the vaccines. Within that day, I saw the signs towed away, not a single PSA and the clinics were cut down to chosen days of the week, then shut down. Its been a week since I've heard a report on this "Epidemic" and seldom PSA is heard, still from the same announcer, but only talk of clean hands and mention of "Flu Season". Seems like up North here, we cure ourselves of the plague, Eh?

I'm at a loss with this Aporkalypse
