Bush adminstration could've captured terrorist Osama Bin Laden in December 2001: Senate report

www.nydailynews.com

Osama Bin Laden was within military reach when the Bush administration allowed him to disappear into the mountains of Afghanistan rather than pursue him with a massive military force, a new Senate report says.

The report asserts that the failure to get the terrorist leader when he was at his most vulnerable in December 2001 - three months after the 9/11 attacks - led to today's reinvigorated insurgency in Afghanistan.

Well off course they let him slip away ...

Can't very well start wars if you don't have any evil carrots to chase.

I'm right here. Aren't you anti-big government? Because this is the result of big government and the corruption that comes with it. War is just a big government program no more effective than any other monstrosity we let these idiots get away with.

How much devastation, how much horror, how much hatred was generated.

If "they" have this evil ability to create an "Era of Horrors and Hatred and Deception", then we can attend only the worse one for our future.

Actually it isn't "Liberal propaganda" we had Delta on his ass back in 2001 and they were called off. This is a matter of public record. I recommend doing a bit of research. Some of us have known about this for quite some time and didn't need a senate panel to state it.

I say war has a distinct difference -

An individual engages in those aspects and they get the chair.

Glad you are of principle

Being a Constitutionalist(and soon to be a soldier) comes with certain responsibilities. Like being consistent. A republican or democrat cannot claim the same to be true of their respective ideologies.

I don't know what to tell you Imagir other than my heart weeps along yours ...

But they'd been planning all this stuff for eight years whilst Bill was pres., they weren't gonna let a little detail like capturing the bad guy get in the way.

Just my take on it.

After reading this article (or any for that matter) would you spew the same contempt for the Clinton Admin ?
Clinton could have captured or killed Bin Laden 3 times
