UPFRONT Personal Disclosure: I have a passionate dislike for L.E.O's and the state sanctioned protection racket that they thuggishly enforce by proxy for TPTB!

Explanation: St*r for PSUSA!

I'll pile it on if you don't mind!

What can happen at home for some LEO's spouses etc.

What can happen to good LEO's done by other LEO's!

If there wasn't a REAL problem with LEO's actions generally, then why the NEED for this organization?

Maybe its because of this load of codswallop!

Which is a direct result of these types of corruption....

And before anybody asks me about my own backyard, feast your eyes upon this Aussie BBQ of shame!

Couldn't "the kernel" just do some simple research of his own to answer this question? I'll give you a head start though...It's alot!

awww.. hey look fellas, its one of them there guys who likes to hide in his basement and wax poetic on social interactions he's never partaken in so that he can feel better about living in the basement.

now, before you make more assumptions that will make you look even more foolish, consider which ones are out there every day in the thick of it and are not afraid to actually form an opinion after they've seen the facts and had experience in such matters.

Then again, I'm sure you'll rationalize that as well while you wait for your hotpockets.

I have no reason to like cops. There's a story there but it's long and I was young.
But as far as those 4 cops that got killed are concerned, I'm certainly glad the SOB that executed them got his in the end. He was an animal and like an animal he had to be put down. These were HUMAN beings with families that will never have them back.
This man was arrested for child rape and released on bond (which there should be no bond for) and then went looking for a group of cops he could take out in revenge for being arrested (boo hoo) and that level of premeditation makes this act all the more disgusting.
I am appalled and horrified by this senseless act of wanton violence. But what horrifies and apalls me worse is the fact that he was on the streets. Good job, Washington and Arkansas! In California I could conceivably go away for life for stealing a loaf of bread to feed my family (3 strike law long story) but Your states allow child rapists and career criminals to walk.
Gee, I'm glad I live in Oregon where we have very draconian anti violence laws and most everyone owns a gun.

I just KNOW cops are overzealous, they are on a constant powertrip, they've been given the power to do what ever they want with impunity, i drive back and forth everyday and i rarely if ever witness a real crime taking place, all i see are people pulled over for going 15 miles over the speed limit or some other vehicular infraction, all this done to people just trying to make a living... People are going to get away with crimes cops or no cops, you can't prevent something secret from occurring, so they are out on the streets to harrass everday hardworking citizens.

oh and don't get me started on the latests "non-lethal" weapons used on unarmed individuals, the Tazer. It's funny how a cop can raise a weapon and shoot it at a person now, i guess the days of subduing people is over... Noew i can understand if your trying to take down hulk hogan, but they use that weapon on anybody, and use it as a threat. No matter the reason, it's a c0ntrol weapon. Cops are lap dogs of the government, their hounds they send out while they stay in their ivory towers and get paid exorbitant amounts of money, and live lavish lives...

Well, the answer is simple, how many tickets have they written? How many kidnappings taking someone before the judge have they done? These are high crimes being committed everywhere.

Now there are lots of reasons that could be behind these killings. It is is retribution for the cops criminal behavior I would say it's surprising there isn't more of it, a lot more.

I believe that the average cop hates their job. Numerous officers with years of experience have stated here and there that they don't know of a single cop that wouldn't quite their job in a heartbeat if they could find something else. I think "cops" tend to be victims of the fictional legal system and it's political collaborators. I would bet that 80-90% are good people that are just out front for the mob. I don't believe for a second that in a real crisis the average copy would be on the side of the criminal city, county, state governments. I think the reason we see the Nazi style show of force is to psych people out into believing there is a large supportive force when I don't think it exists.

The bottom line is still this. Cops commit numerous high crimes in violation of Common Law every single day by simply being part of the fake Commercial/Statutor/contract law scam that is being perpetrated unconstitutionally and unlawfully. If the cops stood up for common law and refused to participate in this Vatican legal system scam we would have a great country over night.

Having to walk around watching your back just sure that the cops, NWO, reptillians are out to get you. If you really ande truely believe what you wrote...I feel sorry for you. But you know what.....If your life was endanger, I would be willing to bet that if a cop were onscene, they would do their best to protect you, despite your unintellegent, misinformed, and generally wrong view of things.

Man, I'm sorry about your visit to vegas. As I live in Vegas myself I can atest to the police being very bad out here. However, I don't think police abuse would be as often if people knew their rights and what the police are they for and they are doing. For example, I found this video and it has been helpful with understanding and dealing with the police. Here it is for anyone else who wants to learn more about police and YOUR actual rights when dealing with them. SO atleast if you are wronged you can get justice against them in

What do you people not get here? This is about GUN CONTROL.

It matters not if they were dirty cops or whomever. The CIA and shadow government are trying everything they can to show the world, America CAN NOT control itself with killing by gun. So the government NEEDS to control US.

It's that simple. I feel so bad for the families of those who have been slain by this idiotic agenda. And it is an agenda, make no mistake. Anyone who has an ounce of brains can figure it out. Look at the last 15-20 years compared to before that time, was there a problem with guns before gun control........NO, only after some small laws were illegally passed and most people bought into it. Then they (government and CIA) ratcheted up the heat and started this agenda.

So sad. I grew up with guns, was taught at an early age, hunted when I was young, haven't done so in years, no need. But we always had respect for them. They are neccesary property. And that's where everyone has it wrong, they can eliminate the second amendment and it wouldn't make a shet bit of difference, it's the fourth and fifth amendments and the other 7 that count. A GUN is PROPERTY, plain and simple, and if the NRA would just argue that in court it would be all over, done. But then there would be no need for the NRA would there?

So the NRA is in on it, they are a corrupt organization that is, by stealthy encroachment, working on giving away our rights. And most people don't see it coming. How sad. I am a memebr of the NRA, joined for a year to explain the legal aspect to them but they don't want to do the right thing, they are corrupt. A GUN is PROPERTY and you have the natural born, God given right to own it. It's that simple.

The one Common Law of nature and of God........Thou shalt never infringe upon anothers rights, life, liberty or property EVER!!

How simple is that and how grand a world it would be if everyone just understood his place and himself?

Not all cops are bad, but there are bad cops.

You know, you might be on to something here. Think about it, these cops go out on a daily basis risking their lives while these elitest scumbags feed off the weak and the helpless. There must be more than just a little resentment between LEOs and these lowlife politicians, judges, public officials, etc.

This might explain why they prefer to hire individuals who are power hungry, not very bright and easily manipulated. If you were a cop and had a good head on your shoulders and a family, would you willingly participate in systematically destroying your own country by denying your fellow citizen his basic human rights?

So, instead of hiring qualified individuals to do a very important job, they hire a bunch of goons who they equip with a gun and a badge and tell them to go out there and do whatever they please. And if they do something wrong (which happens a lot more often than we hear about), not to worry, the filthy system covers their back.

Can't give a number, but I can attest to the fact that I've personally witnessed many instances of abuse by the police over the years, in many different parts of the U.S.

I've seen harassment, murder, "illegal activities", improper acivities, cover ups, set ups, beatings of completely innocent people who never were arrested because they committed no crimes, theft - it all happens and it is all very real.

I've also seen some great cops doing the best job they can - doing their best to protect and to serve their communities. Many go out of their way to do so.

It happens. Sometimes people fight back with lawsuits and win - usually 1-2 million dollars. Sometimes the State Police are court ordered to escort the local police on all calls while they are being investigated.

This isn't anything new. It's always been that way.

That is a lot of Wikipedia sources. The good thing about Wikipedia is that the people can access and edit the content with ease.

That being said, don't you think there will be bias? Like said before and known throughout the realm of common sense, the dirt stories sell; the bad, get-under-your-skin stories and facts are what get people's attention. I am not attacking their credibility of those facts, I am just saying that it is easy to be one-sided.

Also, while you are searching for sources for seemingly countless brutality instances from cops, do you try to find good ones too? I don't think you do. There would be no point, right? You are so entrenched in your belief hole as I am that you closed your mind to the possibility that you are wrong about the 'fact' that all cops are pigs, and that anyone that will be a cop, like myself, will be corrupted.

Of course you will find more stories about brutality by cop, that is because no one cares about the good deeds cops do everyday. No one cares that they are risking their lives for a paycheck that is ridiculed whenever they issue a citation to an unruly pedestrian. No, all they care about is the dirt, the dirt that will reassure their sadistic beliefs that all cops are varsity football playing, nerd bullying sadomasochists.

Cops are rude, condescending and totally uncooperative not to mention dangerous. I lose no sleep over the cops and their hard job or their pay check that they don't earn.

Cops are worthless in today's society. They are there for paperwork after the fact. They should take their guns away and make them drive ugos... They have way to much power and they wield it with an iron fist.

They lose no sleep over the citizens they are sworn to protect that they actually abuse and kill. I lose no sleep for four cops that come from a corrupt brutal police department. They are a joke in that town and now they can feel what it's like now that they are on the losing side for a change.

I bet we see more of this retaliation if that is what it was. Personally I think the cops killed their own and blamed this guy. Seems to me either way the cops have been put on notice...

OK firefighter, this is my third f"""IN attempt at posting on this thread. I am a cop. You are a fireman I assume, that makes you a brother. There is no one on this thread that has the experience that we have. Noone has had to make to split second decisions that you and I make. It's 3:40 am, and I am awake because I have to go to work tonight at 6:00 pm. I wonder how many of these candy asses are asleep in thier beds as I type this. When is the last time you stood outside a burning house trying to decide weather or not you should go in and rescue the person inside?. I am going to say never. Because that is a decision that you made long ago. These #heads that are setting here accusing the Seattle cop of killing the cop killer without regards to the fact that he was taking a life is full of #.
Some time back I had a domestic call where to perp was a very large male and he told me that he has a shotgun in the car with my name on it. I could see that I was not going to get anywhere trying to reason with this guy so I reached for my PR-24 Baton and as I did he saw it. He said "I have something for you" and he went to his truck where the shotgun was. I told him to freeze and to not go into the truck. He went anyway. Instead of coming out of the truck, he punched the gas and drove off. I had my weapon drawn and the hammer cocked back, if he had came out of the truck with a Bible or a 45 rpm record, I would have killed him. Why? Because the last words out of his mouth was that I have a shotgun.
Most of the self-rightous assholes on here do not have a clue of that kind of decision making process. Yet, they can set back and judge you and I.
I am a little drunk rigtht now. So I say #'im. Stay the # out of my way and keep your opinion to yourself until you have put on the badge and done the damn job. Thanks for your support.

Explanation: Thanks for your 1st post revealing you are a shill.

RE: "Being an aspiring Police Officer myself, I cannot help but feel utterly offended by all of the hatred spewed from the people of ATS." [Note: All bold, italics and underline for my emphasis.]

If you feel offended then maybe you shouldn't partake in threads Titled " Cop haters, this thread is for you."! Seems you walked in exactly where you weren't wanted!
Maybe you should rethink that job occupation you have been seeking!

Now on to wikipedia...Yep its a source of "the people" and that in and of itself is a "realm of common sense" and I provided it only in that context regardless of whether that common sense is accurate or not. Would you have posted if the links were to say the encyclopedia Britanica or the World encyclopedia etc? The links FYI were used in an umbrella fashion and were not intended to show specific individual cases of corruption.

Anyhow, regardless of wikipedia's reputation [or lack there of,] for accurate reporting of information, to discount the information contained within wikipedia out off hand without 1st researching the voracity of its sources and more importantly the issue as regards to the specific wiki pages information that was referenced, is a clear case of myopia and a subtle attempt to ad hominen wikipedia!

Wiki Biased? Yep! That is TOTALLY NOT THE POINT! The point is, is that bias VALID? In this specific case I KNOW IT IS! Why? I've Tested it!

[See below for details of this one incident!]

I note that it seems that you only have problems with wiki! Does that mean you endorse the other links that I have provided. What about the link provided by PSUSA? I'm not the only one providing answers to the OP's question and yet you single me out for special attention! Is that because I was bang on the money with my post and you as a shill can't be with the standing of that? [Note: Its a question and not a statement and I do want an answer OK.]

Now as for finding stuff about good cops...well I did provide that link to the missing "GOOD" cop who was totally screwed over by his own kind and so when you start attributing words like "You are so entrenched in your belief hole as I am that you closed your mind to the possibility that you are wrong about the 'fact' that all cops are pigs, and that anyone that will be a cop, like myself, will be corrupted."....... to me , when I have clearly not posted anything regarding pigeonholing the whole demographic of LEO's as "pigs", makes me view your shill status in a whole new light.

Care to RETRACT?

Finally as to caring about the cops and how no one actually seems to care for them but the cops themselves. Well maybe in my case, that is because I have never PERSONALLY asked the LEO's to and yet they think that I need their protection and or help! FYI I am NOT a Victim OK!

Personal Disclosure: OL has mental health issues and last Febuary when the Victorian bushfires had JUST wiped out Kinglake etc I became quite prodromal due to my violent paranoid schizophrenia and I was quite homicidal and I acted appropriately by calling the metal health crisis team. It was a full moon and sunday night just after midnight and the cops were pushed to the limit with what had just happened [even though its canberra , victoria is ever so close] and this is what went down.

I reach the crisis team assesor and they accurately ID me as both homicidal and suicidal [I was valid in calling them!] and they arranged for the police to come and pick me up and transport me to the ER and so I sit outside for OVER A FFREAKING hour and then I call the crisis team again and I am informed that the police are giving them the runaround by asking for a form that they KNOW DOES NOT EXIST! I ask if I can ride my bicycle in...Nope..can I walk in?.....Nope! "The cops have to do it!" was the reply and at this point I exploded in frustration and said that we had reached an impass and I offered to call the cops and they reluctantly agreed. So I call the cops and I get this male officer who tells me that "yes they are aware and I'll just have to wait as it really isn't their job to be a taxi service for mental patients!"...I quite simply replied with a matter of fact "It most certainly is your job when the blood flows!" and I slammed the phone down and prepared myself to go methodically slaughter the entities on my list. Needless to say that within like 5mins flat a paddy wagon hooned on up to my place sporting the youngest female officer fresh from Goulburn Police Academy and the oldest male officer I have ever seen [he had a very noticable limp
WTF?] and they were clearly terrified of me [wild eyes and hands on unclipped holster ready to draw] when it should of been clear to them that I had dobbed myself in willingly! :shk:
They ended up being quite friendly once I had put them at ease and I took both their no#'s and I put in a commendation for them.

P.S. NOTE: I did not start out by attacking the LEO's from my own biased experience. Instead I answered the OP's question as best I could including being transparent about my biases! I only provide this personal experience here because you implied [wrongly] that I had a hard and fast inflexible negetive opinion of you and your ilk and my personal experience says otherwise, but only on a case by case basis. Generally though, as a collective group, LEO's are in it for themselves and for the benifits to THEM that it brings far more than "To Serve and Protect!" first or why aren't they working for free if they are really so concerned about the greater good!
If LEO's are so freaking great then why is there still a need for them? Seems to me that they seriously have an over inflated opinion of themselves as they haven't put themselves out of a job just yet!
