Now lets learn how to make waffles!

You will need:
- 2 cups of all purpose flour,
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder,
- some salt (1/2 teaspoon),
- 2 teaspoons of sugar,
- 2 cups of milk,
- 2 eggs,
- and one tablespoon full of melted butter.
(note - this recipe doesn't use yeast, the ingredients we mentioned at the beginning were just some general things you want to have at home if you want to make waffles regularly)

1. Separate the egg whites from the yolk and beat them until they turn into white snow.

2. Mix all the milk, melted butter, sugar, and egg yolks into smaller bowl. Mix until the sugar dissolves. Put all the dry ingredients (all purpose flour, baking powder, salt) into a bigger bowl and pour in the wet stuff. Mix until most of the batter is nice and even but leave some lumps that will tell you that you did not mix too much.

3. Gently mix egg whites into the batter.

4. You are finished, all you need to do is to bake your waffles. Just put one cup of batter in the preheated iron waffle and close it. It should take about 2 minutes, but check you waffle maker for specific instructions.

So witht that I am pretty sure we still have those ingredients WIDELY available...therefore we still have waffles.

And this coming from a Canadian. You guys have round bacon!! That's an abomination to God!!

Easier way to make waffles: Go to store, pick out which box looks the coolest, take home, eat.

No way! Vermont maple syrup is a hell of a lot better than Canadian (and New Hampshire and New York)!

Hmmm...what do you call "Canadian bacon" in Canada? Just ham?

Gonna have to agree with Ferris. We have Vermont if Canada wants to embargo their syrup.

Yes, now I understand lol.

It is just Ham...I don't understand why we started calling it bacon..perhaps to confuse unlucky Americans who came to dine at Mcdonalds...

And we've apologized a million times for Celine Dion, Brian Adams is next.

Even easier:

2 cups Aunt Jemima Pancake mix
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup olive oil

All together put 'em and whisk, whisk until mixed, then pour onto hot waffle iron. Makes about eight 8 inch waffles. And they can be frozen for tomorrow if you really have to have that part of the experience.

Ahhh! Fresh home made waffles, cheaper and easier and tastier than those store bought things anyway.

You guys are way over thinking this. It's not like ego is the only maker of frozen crappy waffles. Just buy the safeway or w/e generic brand and life is normal.

Now the real scary part.... this shortage isnt just ego and its all products based like this..... ahhhhh!

At least I have my protein bars and rockstar!
