There are Muslim feminists. They have a tough road to hoe. But there have been some very interesting female Muslim leaders.

They make me very proud, the women who risked all to continue to teach their daughters to read and write under the Taliban. I admire their strength.

I am outraged at the treatment of women. But women are a "cultural" issue, and "culture" is the new sacrament. Anything done in the name of "culture" is okay, and it is oppressive for my Westernized colonizing self to say boo about it.

Proven oil reserves. PROVEN.

They have very uncomplicated homeogenous geology. Most of their reserves are therefore proven.

When factoring proven and unproven together in areas with more complicated geology, the Middle East is not the bastion of all petroleum.

2. They have been working to fragment and destroy this society and this culture for a very long time. They have been succeeding very well.

4. They have been in charge of the media and groups that they founded like NOW for a very very very long time.

I used to want to ask Muslims . . . You have Mecca, medina, Quom . . . why not give the Jews Jerusalem . . . given that you construe Allah to be generous, merciful etc.

When i finally ran across a Muslim to ask . . . it was like the question was incomprehensible. The fellow was bright. But he simply could NOT wrap his mind aruond the possibility. It did not compute. The option was sooooooo 'genetically' incomprehensible to him that over several minutes of trying, he never could offer the least bit of a sensible answer.

Are these sort of Muslims Radicals or even stealth radicals?

Muslims women who won't remove Viels at school as teachers, workers or pupils?

Muslims who bring companies to court because they refuse to handle alcohole and bacon or refuse to take you by taxi because you are a gay couple, just brought a bottle of Wine.

What about Muslims demanding Sharia Banks and Courts?

Are they radical or is that the start before your democracy becomes a hybrid sharia sepratists movement. Before long the ice sheet of togetherness will break into many seperate parts of isolation that is hard to glue back and it will be war to bring back the peace again.

Essentially, the two Texans were met by security people coming on the plane. They took the Muslims off. Searched them, then boarded them again on the same plane.

The stewardess insisted she was not staying on the plane. The Captain and whole crew insisted that they were not flying the plane and left the plane.

The Airline brought a whole 'nother crew on board.

The man reporting informed the stewardess he was getting off the plane. She insisted he could not. He insisted he was a grown man who'd paid for the ticket and either he was going through that door or . . .

Most everyone else began to stand up and insist on the same thing. They all left the plane.

The flight was canceled.
