Haha - well I actually have five cats - all strays/orphans, so you have my sympathy already!

My cats have not seen any reports regarding the Argentina siting being discussed on this thread (that's for the mods)

PS. What happened to his leg? Argentina UFO

I think more a crazy creep of a neighbour, but cannot prove it. He went missing for a day, came back with his foot bent in ahlf and turned out he'd broke his paw - 3 of his toes were broken and overlapping and a 4'th was fractured. A month later it wasnt healing at all so it was either spend thousands on resetting it, which we couldnt afford after already near $800 on what was done, or amputation, for just under a grand. They took the entire limb too, so now we have to call him Tripod.. lol

He was a stray also, but has really been through so much there was no way I'd let him be put down. His character is unique; and hes so affectionate after being a stray for so long.

My neighbour is a mad old hag, she's often out her back swearing her head off, arguing with her little kids, etc...

She'd be a reason why UFO's come to this planet, suss it out and go "OH CRAP, Screw this!!" and not make contact!! lol

What a joke: I just checked Wiki, after Esrom Escutcheon Esquire's post (thanks for that), and found our very own Micheal Cohen - of the infamous ALL News Webs joke of a website, listed as one of Australia's UFO investigators. I'm starting to get nausea spasms.

Esrom Escutcheon Esquire - I had a look at that: that report has some interesting similarities. Maybe it was inadvertently dredged up and recycled as a new event.

That really gets my blood boiling! I would have been tempted to twist the old hag's leg (as long as she wasn't bigger than me)

My wonderful neighbour got his terrier to fatally maul my Mother's cat - in front of her!

Tis no wonder I often prefer the company of animals to human-animals.

Uhh that guy has nothing to investigate, he's already proven in is own mind everything... Ugh...
He at least tempers his articles with the word "Opinions by" before raving on about his so called facts..

It is now known that the civilization located in Andromeda Galaxy that is communicating with us via these UFO probes refer to themselves as ‘Axthadans’. They are at least several thousand years ahead of humanity in terms of technology. Their appearance lies somewhat between the race we refer to as ‘Greys’ and our own. This alien civilization has in fact been watching humans and even discreetly guiding them for thousands of years.

oO

With people like him who needs skeptics. This is what is wrong with it all, why people look down on anyone interested in this topic.. Jesus..

--

That article does indeed sound remarkably the same. Or is 7500 just a common number to report from that area, when reporting UFO sightings..

Hmmmmm, at 1am I think I'll ponder this later, but for now, I'll keep an open mind. Anything can arise, I just don't want to let tiredness get in the way of rational thinking.

You and me both mate, and believe me, I'd contemplated on a rather wet *hic* night of visiting the old witch.

Oohh if I'd have been around for the what you just said mate, I'd most likely not been able to control myself.. That really ... I can't swear, so I can't finish the sentence...

I saw exactly the same objects in the picture on thursday night in Southern Spain. Didnt get a chance to film on my phone as I was on the terrace talking on the phone.!!

Quite amazing as it changed 3 similar colours with such intensity and was quite large. I guesstimate about 5 metres by 5.

Nice photo!! Thanks

thanks everyone for the great replies

so far the only update i have found is on the blog page (Inexplicata) and it say's this was reported in the Newspapers the next day and they were just starting to interview witnesses. the update also say's there are no pictures as of YET because they are still investigating this sighting. that could mean pictures might become available at a later time. there now seems to be a problem with the number of witnesses reported as you can see the blog page is now saying over a hundred witnesses. i did not make the 7,500 up out of nowhere and i believe the blog page has been edited since i posted this story. this current update might be saying that only a hundred out of the many have so far come forward to talk about the sighting. your guess is as good as mine. i will post any updates when possible. thanks

Argentina: Speculation About UFOs Over Salta and Perú: Is First Contact Imminent?

Daily newspapers of the Salta locality of Anta stated that in the early hours of Thursday, witnesess claimed seeing a flying object shaped like a luminous cigar. In Perú, a UFO flotilla showed itself over Lima.

CITY OF BUENOS AIRES (Urgente 24) - Daily newspapers of the Salta locality of Anta stated that in the early hours of Thursday, witnesess claimed seeing a flying object shaped like a luminous cigar.

Salta UFO Update (7:38 am, 11.28.09)
The following information was just received from Luis Burgos, director of the Fundación Argentina de Ovnilogia (FAO):

1) The number of witnesses to the event now surpasses one hundred.
2) All of them agree that the object was "cigar-shaped", was self-luminous and of considerable size.
3) No photos or videos are known to exist AS OF YET.
4) 40 kilometers from town, a row of 5 low voltage street lights were found completely carbonized in their upper section, their wires burned and shorted out. The light posts have 35 meters (114 feet) of separation between them, which suggests that the element causing the situation acted over a strip of no less than 140 meters (1500 feet) across.

Speaking of flying saucers over Argentina, isn't it great the way America has holographically projected its new death ray star ship to a post directly over Argentina so those wise guys who beat Cheney to the punch on the Afghan oil and gas pipeline in the 9/11 PNAC conspiracy thread don't get any ideas about signing any other oil pipeline deals in the mid-east at any future time; as no one embarrasses Dick Cheney more than once, lest you get posted onto the axis of evil list and become next on the list of projected coup targets! Perhaps a better conspiracy would be the bloodless American coup following so short on the tails of the bloodless Russian coup that featured all those supranational oligarchs like Roman Abramovich scurrying off the decks of the looted Soviet ship of state and then off to Israel with billions of dollars stolen from the treasury ... with Soros, Bernanke, Walton, Murdoch, Dell, Geffen, Spielberg, Gates, Zuckerberg, Katzenberg, Madoff, Feinberg, Millken, Levine, Boesky, Stanford, Larry Ellison et. al. the American coup would seem to be happening in slow motion in comparison; all of these "winners" in the meritocratic egalitarian venture capital casino capitalist markets only goes to show that while comprising only 2% of the population these poor rich folks have been the victims of 98% of the Holocaust-like hate crimes committed by all of those jealous folks like Gary Kildall, Bill Joy, and Tim Berners-Lee who somehow never seemed to obtain any sort of monopoly power based on the fruits of THEIR inventions.

great post though, I think I get it, Argentina as compared to the US has:

better trains, better beef, better dancers with lither bodies, and as for the wise corporate types who beat the Dick Cheney consortium to the punch in winning the Afghan oil contracts: priceless! Would that Dick and the neo-Cons respected intellectual priority and the rule of law instead of being Zionist tools for the global fascism and the oppression of mankind that is hiding in plain sight; ever greater corporate power being concentrated in fewer and fewer Zionist hands. With that power deserting the American ship of state the time for the NWO draws ever closer. The capital of the NWO would seem to be none other than the one state where the multicultural elite in the name of Alan Dershowitz deems apartheid and torture in the name of a "greater good" a non-crime.

The report said that it was an unusually hot night.

In fact, it was an extremely hot night, and most people were unable to sleep because of it.

I'm assuming no aircon, so they were up, and trying to keep cool.
Not all of them obviously, but a lot of them.

I think there are around 20k inhabitants.

According to www.mediatico.com... they are an online IT magazine

It appears Salta professes visitors quite often.

You know, it seems odd to me to hear about UFO/OVNI crashes all the time. Are these aliens so inept that they factor in crashes all the time? Or is someone shooting them down? Or are they meteors with a little excitement added by human habitants. If they are crashes, wouldn't that mean there are A LOT OF UFOS? or that crashes mean nothing to the Aliens?

the report mentions that ufo's were also spotted in Peru which is just just North of Argentina

Daily newspapers of the Salta locality of Anta stated that in the early hours of Thursday, witnesess claimed seeing a flying object shaped like a luminous cigar. In Perú, a UFO flotilla showed itself over Lima.

some information about ufo's over Peru

Here is a very interesting 2001 UFO incident that involved strange lights and occurred in South America in a place called Chulucanas Peru wich is near the Nazca Lines

According to the studies of Dr. Jorge Choy Montes, OIFAA investigator, the sightings recorded on video were produced between October 13 and 15 and November 15, 2001, in Chulucanas in the valley of Morrop-n, and were seen by dozens of people in the province.

The three sightings in 2001 in Chulucanas lasted 2 hours, 26 minutes and 12 seconds, and 42 minutes respectively.

According to the investigation of Dr. Jorge Choy of OIFAA, the Chulucanas case involves close encounters of the first kind for collective sightings and recordings, encounters of the second kind for supposed tracks of landings, of the third kind for presumed observation of crew members of the craft, of the fourth kind for presumed abductions of people and animals, and of the fifth kind, for supposed actual contact with craft crew members.

Because of these sightings the Peru Military started to investigate UFO sightings

the UFO's shown in the pictures and in the video are definitely not lanterns ,planes, planets. the reports says that these lights interacted with the witnesses and were seen in the sky for over two hours.

just North of Peru is the Nazca lines , could there be some connection ? maybe these UFO's are looking for the people that built the Nazca lines ?

Living in Australia this stuff is also imported from overseas, and the cost of these items is double what it is in the US here as well. There's no reason to assume that people in this small town in Argentina can't also afford these things.

Please provide a source for this fact! I also live in Australia and I can tell you that our products that are imported into this country are NOT Double the cost of similar products in the U.S.. Most of our products are cheaper to buy than what the Americans have to pay. The only thing I envy is their fuel prices and even then, it's not that great Now./.

You have to take into account that our Monetary system is also different to what it is in America.

I get a little tired of these statements that are not based on facts whatsoever.

I know this is off topic and I'll try and stay there, Sorry..

That's absolute bs about most of our products being cheaper to buy as most of our products are imported. Ok maybe not exactly double the price but a lot dearer. How can you say this isn't based on facts? Do some research. Living in Australia, I shouldn't have to explain this to you.

Try being a little more observant in future before criticizing someones comments.

Sorry to go off topic mods, but I had to respond to this.

Who's to say some of the residents don't have these technologies?

I find these comments about small town folk not being up to speed with modern conveniences a little insulting. I live in a small town and have these things so why can't they? It annoys me when people imply that because someone lives in a small town they must be country hicks living in conditions similar to a third world country. Stop stereotyping.

And Tesla and Lyle, can you not change the record, just for christmas? For years every single post was about Tesla, no matter how tenous the link.

One day you posted about WWII saucers and I was happy for you and the site that your obsession may be folding but ever since, you have not stopped going on about WWII saucers!!

It's boring and posting the same thing time after time makes you look a bit weird.

This is 21st century Argentina, we are talking about. We are not looking at some lonely Andes goat herders!

Just about as obnoxious as American's not understanding how lucky they are with all their luxuries, is Americans who believe that the rest of the World is has only just learnt how to manipulate iron!
