I would have for most of my life associate myself with the "term" Liberal

and this is all very interesting to me... because it's a real demonstration in HOW an Ism... Like Facism did in Germany can capture so many people from different walks of life and get them together into a singular Dogma that makes no actual sense...

All together in One name for one cause that actually has nothing to do with anything other than Nationalism and loss of Diversity, Creativity and Free Expression.

I'm 25 years old. For much of the time I've been politically active I've been called a liberal, even though I never subscribed to liberal policies any more than conservative ones. The fact is, Liberals don't know a damned thing about economics, this much has been proven by their "Take from the rich, give to the poor" mentality. Not realizing that Robin Hood was a bloody thief period. Conservatives on the other hand don't know people.

Now I'm not talking about Libs/Conservatives that exist on the lower echelons of society, I'm talking about the ones in power. The one thing they have in common with each other is that they have no damn clue what Americas are saying and thinking and feeling. Which is why I'm a Constitutionalist.

My friend, you are somewhat right. I am a 17 year old Republican in Chicago. I am surrounded by liberal ideals, not to mention that I go to a public high school. I have many liberal teachers, and the majority of them are in their late 30s, and they are not married, and seem to lose it every now and then. That is why I can agree with your post.

I know some conservative teachers at my school, and they have a very simple life, and are all married, or engaged. From what it seems, they seem to be very stable.

As for me, the reason I lean more to the right is because it seems simpler, and because the city I live is very pro liberal. The media here in Chicago is almost completely one-sided, not to mention the fact that this city has been known for being corrupt. Also, the city is located in one of the most corrupt states. Then the fact that Chicago is like Obama's hometown, and Illinois is like his home state.

As you can imagine I don't hear anything bad about Obama, unless I go online. Some of my teachers, both liberal and conservative critize the fact that Chicago has been run by the corrupt "democratic" Daleys for almost 40 years now. I don't know how much information gets out past Illinois' border, but there have been some scandals recently involving state officials in Illinois.

I believe that we need a new party. A brand new one, that any man or woman, from any race, background, and beliefs can feel confident to join, and feel welcomed for their remainder of life. A young man can dream can't he?

I'm sorry for rambling on, but I just needed to get some stuff off my chest.

I would agree that Liberals generally do worse in regards to Money, but i'd say that reason is Lifestyle vs Finance.

There is a reason in crazy Utah where there is Nothing the Mormon Church is the richest in the world now or places like Dubai have massive skyscrapers and no not just because of the Oil or Jews are always persecuted as Money thieves.

Conservative Lifestyle, is healthy, you live longer, you accumulate more money to pass on , you have families and the Money grows...

Likewise, you have Less sickness, less lifestyle problems, your Conservative... you might be with family on Friday night not spending 300 bucks out drinking or even working when others are spending...

Therefore your also going to get to "play" with money more often and understand it better as well...

There is this sect In America that really like as you said wishes to simply take the money away from these people...

But 99% of them Earned it fairly with no conspiracy and NO wrong doing whatsoever

And i'll be bashed for it but I have friends who work Board of Ed in NYC, Teachers Deans etc...

And they mostly are retarded and want to live of the system.

They salivate over a 3,000 dollar raise from Obama because they have no desire to do anything else want a paycheck and a house...

But the reality is they can't afford those things for 25 yrs in that system and are very often unhappy, lazy and bitter about it.

They mostly aren't any inspiration what so ever to a child or teen.

To be educated you need to have respect for the life and knowledge and experiences of your Sensei

There is nothing but Sloth to be found in the Public School system these days...

Who really cares if that happens? What will happen at some point is that technology will allow us to choose which gender we would like to be after birth. So for this year I might like to be a man and afterwards I want to change to a woman so I can give birth. To elaborate further on the first paragraph, if we stick with the current situation as it is I can envisage three outcomes for the future of humanity. One, we end up with The Culture comprised of compromises and a slow, gradual unification of all the different people and cultures in the world under the banner of tolerance, technology and education (essentially liberalism). Two, a or The Master Race comprised of a hardcore majority that never deviates from it's fundamentalist roots, probably based in religion, who view and treat others as inferior slaves, and will rule with an iron fist (essentially conservatism). Three, the extinction of our species and any others that happen to get caught up in process via biological weapons or something similar in an ego-driven war to ultimately prove who is right/wrong.

I think it's about time we moved on from left/right, liberal/conservative, black/white BS thinking. We need to settle down (and our differences) and evolve as a species, I see technology as a great means to achieve that goal as the majority of people want to be healthier, live longer, have more choices, be free from forced labour (machines can do all the work so we don't have to), and so forth. Label me what you like, but I'd prefer to see everyone get along with freedom to do as they wish without fear, hatred or prejudices holding us back.

I am saying that Liberalism is no longer Liberalism in most aspects, that it has been taken over and reworked to produce agendas that aren't Liberal.

As for the sex and gender thing...

Well... you know on a level, and particularly in certain environments I don't have an actual problem with the capacity to, or peoples desire to do these things to themselves or perhaps make their life and persona actually match who they really are inside...

BUT

This should not crowd out or take precedent OVER traditional family values nor be forced into communities where it's not wanted...

People have always been Gay or hermaphroditic, it's part opf the human condition that SOME people for various reasons are born this way, they have every right to be treated humanely and every right to exist and it's great, great that science can boost it along...
