It is now 9:13 a.m. EST....The markets just opened and already they are predicting a really bad day ahead for the markets. The TSX took a huge hit yesterday falling 200pts while the DOW was off for the holiday. They are predicting more losses for today too.......

Just a question for all you business saavy types...I thought this was all behind us??? Didn't they say the recession was over???. Someone must have seen this coming and it doesn't make sense to me. I think the figures were only 62 billion in debt. It DOESN'T seem like alot when what some of the big institutions in the U.S. owed alot more. You would think the global markets could handle this....OR is it more fragile than we were led to beleive???

The markets are down over 200 just at starting, Today is going to be a very interesting day.
