Why fear a one world government???

Hi! If just one wealthy person, or company decided to ship a well digging team and truck over to Africa or other countries such as Afganashstan
Digging two wells a week for a year, things would start to improve in those countries. Water, education in farming, education in health care, dental care, basic government, etc... would help the planet. I often wounder why the african americans had no desie to return to their countries and help their relatives with their new knowledge. Lots of other people mail money back to their relatives and return to help them improve life. I don't think everyone believes in team work or in woking hard.

well I think we need to keep what we have in each state for each state with most of our trading to be between our states not asia and mexico then each state with its own election elect a representative that can work with a smaller fed. government to ensure security and that the important laws are upheld not the lists of bull that they enforce now but as far as money the states fully control spending, this could only work if we stop spending most of our money in other country's making less American jobs. its not that i fear the NWO its just that it wont work or help America be better we need change but a NWO cant do it only a new American order will. i would post more but I am not writing a book i also know that i don't have the best argument but i still care about what will happen in the near future with my kids and yours they cant fight alone.

probably because alot of america is religious, and in the bible in revelations it says that in the end times there will be a 1 world government of 10 super nations and the leader of which will be the anti-christ. so for most probably trying to delay the inevitable if u believe the bile that is. for me, i love my country. i want the united states to remain a sovereign nation. there is also no way a 1 world government would be a free society. not that america is any more, but its a helluva alot more free the great brittan, france, ect...i for one am willing to die to keep my country from becoming one of those countries.

I'm not afraid of the idea of a one world government, in fact I think in many ways it's inevitable. But I am opposed to the New World Order, which is to say I am opposed to the diseased and wicked financial titans who currently run the world further consolidating their control by forming a one world government.

It's not about the fundamental idea of worldwide unity it's about who is in charge and currently the Elite are in charge, the ones who take greed, tyranny and disrespect for human life to new heights. There are 1200 or so billionaires in the world while millions starve, to think that those people would have even more power under one government is a scary thought.

In many ways thought I've come to see the NWO as a ruse to trick conspiracy theorists. Many people on ATS seem convinced that a worldwide tyrannical out in the open style world government is on the way. I think that might all be a trick. Many Conspiracy Theorists are waiting for SHTF scenario to start their rebellion, but what if one never comes, what if out right world government was never their plan. Think about it. TPTB ALREADY own the world, and maybe they could tighten their grip a little but becoming all powerful tyrants will give them away immediately. They have to keep the majority of the populace fat and happy so they can't bring in out right in your face tyranny and keeping most people under the illusion of freedom and keeping from having an obvious right out in the open world government makes even some conspiracy theorists think they still have time to save the world, they don't...

TPTB have already won, they're already in charge and unless you can wake up all six billion people all this planet to that fact society isn't going to get any better. It's why I advocate a "day the Earth stood still" were all human beings stop going about their daily grind and we can figure out what to do with this planet and stop following the broken system that makes the Elite richer and richer.

So maybe we'll see world government but I doubt it will be out right tyranny and I don't think there will be a "President of the World" or anything like that but the people pulling the strings of that government will probably be the same rich scumbags who own the system today, unless there is a global awakening and we humans can come together as a species. That's real global unity, the whole human species coming to consense, sort of a Continental Congress of the World.

One reason for fearing a one world government is that is will be run by POLITICIANS, them being the ones who have reputations that are on par with dodgy used car salesmen.
Not to mention that most are meglomaniacs whose sole intent is to rule the world.
We need smaller localised government, not a bigger distant government.
The further they are away, the more you are just a number and not a person.
While your just a number, you'll get treated like one.
If that's cool in your world, it isn't in mine.
Just look how corrupt state and national governments are.
If you don't like it, you can always migrate somewhere else.
With a global government there is nowhere to go if you don't like living in a dictatorship. And it will be dictatorship as you won't be having a vote in the process.

I will say the simple reason why I'm against a One-World Government: Freedom of choice, at least most of the time.

Countries have varying laws on everything, from political laws to moral laws. If you don't like the laws of your country, then you simply can learn the language of the country you want to move in (if applicable), and go through the process of getting the new Nationality and all the other yaddas. Many people, if not most, would be incredibly uncomfortable with this kind of government.

Of course, there are the good side of things too. But you are also risking a rich multicultural world to follow the same lineal thinking of some group of people. Think it this way: A Japanese-American way of life...? No, at least doesn't fit my world. We would even have to be lucky for that to happen, because if anything, one culture would override another one, and another one, and so on until there's only culture in the world.

Those who hold the reigns of power have NEVER looked out for the good, or welfare of their people.

Oh, they SAY they do... If they came right out and said "Death to the proletariat, and slavery for all but the upper 1%" they would be killed, with their heads stuck on pikes.


Seriously, all throughout history, Governments have fallen to corruption, no matter HOW noble, or perfect their governmental system may begin as.

Power attracts pathological personalities, those who desire power above all else.... for the purpose of EXERCISING IT for their own gain.


Making a government at the level of the WHOLE WORLD would not change this fundamental fact of human nature one bit.

All you would get with a one world government is a one world tyranny, with a Noble Class, and a Serf Class.

IT would be unwise to accept a Global Government until such a time as human beings are Evolved enough to never let those who SEEK power, Attain it.

I think that some type of attentuated socialism is the only way a global government could be effective. The Scandinavian countries have always been the leaders in this type of socialism and even it has it its drawbacks because people abuse it (that's the capitalist in every person which will always be there). MIGHT I REMIND YOU THAT THE FIRST LEADER OF THE UN in the 1940's WAS A SCANDINAVIAN NAMED: DAG HAMMERSKJOLD??? The new brand of socialism will have to allow capitalism somewhat, and also supress it at the same time. That's really been at the heart of the world's most largest problems between nations, that and the question of fascism. With all the different groups of religions and cultures in the world, this melting process will take years...with resentments becoming gradually diluted with each generation until people can be more accepting of each other. Right now people are all in each other's face like never before. We've got to get past this phase first...and as I said in a prior post this will take a long time. I don't see an effective global government really happening before 50 years, and probably longer...although there will be attempts. I think the first effective attempts at global government will be modified version of the UN. Offshoots and spinoffs will happen until they find something that works without too much fascism. Globalists will experiment until they find the right balance.

Why fear a global gov't? Well, look at our own gov't. Obama says america is going green and that americans need to buy more fuel-efficient cars, yet every time you see obama, pelosi, or biden get out of a vehicle, it's ususally a black SUV!

Then they tell us we should've watched our spending, which is why the housing market collapsed, and yet, all our combined debt for the usa stands at a mere 450+ trillion dollars! Yes, I said trillion. This can be seen at www.nationaldebtclock.com, and was shown on glenn beck a couple of weeks ago.

Now, there doesn't seem to be enough money for america's teachers, our roads, our law enforcement officers, and our troops get crappy care when they come home from Iraq and Afghanistan, and this is blamed on the economy and the weak dollar, AND YET, there is always enough money to continue bailing out the banks, gm, aig&others, and continue the funding to Israel!

Charity begins at home, and until we start taking care of our own people, the rest of the world needs to take a backseat for a spell!
