I think that this report is something out of the ordinary that we all should keep an eye on.
China, with it's huge population - not to mention Chinese cities with very high population densities - is arguably one of the best incubators for DNA
mutations in viruses.
Here's an extract from the AP report:
BEIJING — China has detected eight cases of swine flu mutation, a health official said Wednesday, amid longstanding concerns among scientists that
the virus could change into a more dangerous form. Last week, the World Health Organization said it was investigating samples of variant swine flu
linked to two deaths in Norway.

So, what do you think? Cause for concern, or just more H1N1 hyperbole?
