When people are speaking of the 'explosions', you have to remember that if you weren't looking up to see that an aircraft was flying towards the buildings you would have only heard a very loud BANG and seen the building on fire, thus concluding an explosive had went off and in the panic of the moment you would presume that was fact and that is what you would tell people when you paged them.

Same goes for the message about the 'helicopter' that the person said crashed into the pentagon.

This could be a dumb question but what are these "war rooms" that keep being mentioned in the messages?
The only war room I know of is the one in Dr Strangelove.

at the end of the first it says before collapse. also i found it curious that someone would send a with ìm scared. Even if they meant happy face as opposed to winky face than thats still weird. like they knew they specifically werent in harm when everyone else did.
