I think Obama is right to take his time...I don't think that makes a person weak to resist the first impulse they have. It is easy to declare war, send troops, and have no idea when you might leave, or what your purposes are.

It sickens me. We continue to kill more Americans through our policies than Al Queda did on September 11. What is the mission? To stop insane people from blowing up people and things? We could nuke Afghanistan to cinders and there would still be terrorists and there would still be attacks on America and everywhere by crazy people.

This Bush war cannot be won until every human on earth is dead. It is human nature to have some crazy people in the mix. Each and every person we kill over there produces double or more enemies. You kill a mans brother you just made his brother his wife and entire family your enemy.

Someone tell me the mission cause it appears to be a mission to kill American soldiers and blow money we cannot afford to spend?

America does not have the moral mindset to terrorize the enemy into submission so this is no win situation.

The American people can go F'off ass far as I'm concerned. They (A MAJORITY OF US MY FELLOW CITIZENS) wanted to avenge 9/11 through the war on terror and Afghanistan well they have no right to quit now. Bunch of hypocrites. People were all gungho let's kill us some muslim extremist terrorists and go get them sons of bitches. Now the going gets tough and the American people are tired of war and want to leave. Wha wha wha! The only people that HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON are those of us who were against the war FROM THE BEGINNING! And knew that these wars were wrong and would do nothing to stop terrorism. I say give the American people what they wanted! Send the troops! America F'YEAH!

He didn't say he wanted revenge, he said that "They" wanted to avenge 911, meaning the majority of the blinded Bush lovers that just gave him the blank check to do whatever he pleased after that fateful day. If you supported the war then, you are getting what you deserve now. The war was wrong then, and it is wrong now. Attacking Iraq and Afghanistan were pointless moves that carried ulterior motives. I'm not going to spell any of it out here, because frankly, I'm tired of reiterating the obvious. You're all getting what you deserve. Bush was a turd in the toilet, and Obama is just another one floating around in the same pool.

I think we should stop using the word troops.

We should instead say it like it is -

Pentagon preparing to send 34,000 healthy men and women .... to war.

If the strategy is to go in there and patrol the big towns, get hit by IEDs, and try to win hearts and minds, I prefer we just go ahead and bring them home.

The terrorist know all they have to do is wait us out and cause chaos in between.

They think they are fighting for the greater good. They think they are fighting for you and me and the people who died on 911. That is the illusion.
