The hot weather is being blamed for thousands of fish found dead in a lake on Australia's coastline, as well as the water temperatures in the lake being hotter than usual, this has also caused oxygen levels to plummet so low that fish species have not been able to escape from these conditions.

www.news.com.au...

another loss for the enviroment through things heating up.

That's quite a misleading thread title.

As you said yourself, the water suffered depleted oxygen levels... The hotter water gets, the less oxygen it will hold.

Fish would have died from not being able to breath long before they boiled to death.

Water boils at 212°F or 100 °C. They might of died from oxygen depletion but there is no possible way that at any point that lake was boiling. Extremely misleading thread.
