I think you ought to think carefully about what it means to be a patriot. Traitors often justify their actions as patriotism.

Can't answer a simple question, eh? Can't have a discussion, eh? Good thing your armed with what appears to mean weapons, as in guns. because you're certainly not armed with thought or words...they fail you. Which in the end means you're not really armed or prepared at all.

They scared the average American enough to go out and buy up every available large caliber handgun in US gun shops, plus the associated ammunition supplies from last Fall till July. Now that is a lot of guns and ammunition!

No reason to be scared once you're packing a 50, right?

Slayer, you and others here may not want to hear this, but here goes and it's from the heart - or the head - or somewhere in between.

Am I prepared? Getting there. Armed to the teeth, got tons of armor and equipment. All the tactical knowledge I think I'll need in the short term, 'till I can learn even more (you NEVER stop learning - until your number rolls up).

Am I ready? Not just NO, but HELL NO. I say that from past experience. One is never REALLY ready to get shot at. At least I've never been ready for that, however much I may have known it was coming. I'm not at all ready for the mud, and the blood, the piles of rotting corpses or the bonfires they burn 'em in to keep disease down. I guarantee you, you'll NEVER forget what a burning body smells like. You'll never forget the smell of a gut wound.

There's lots of things that stick with you like that.

No, I'm not at ALL "ready", despite "preparation".

Neither will I run and hide from it, nor back down. Sorry, I can't, until the day is done, or I'm resting wherever my rotting carcass winds up.

Ready or not, it's coming.

I keep hearing "who is ready?" and "what you packing?", "How big is yours?"

For the non US soil based life forms could you please translate? There are many options you could be getting prepared for, I am honestly interested in what you think is coming your way.

1. It could be something like an invasion? nope I think thats unlikely

2. How about the government reveal they are all lizards and want to eat you? nope I am pretty sure they are human (maybe not the highest quality in all seats, but hey you get a vote)

3. Limited supply of handbags at the Bloomingdales sales? Maybe you REALLY want the pink one with the fur trim no matter what!

I honestly have no idea?!?

As an outsider what I see is the re-enforcement of a very negative image which gets white washed over all American's very unfairly. Plays into the hands of your "enemies" hook line and sinker!

I wonder which members of TPTB sits on the weapons and ammo company boards, your fear is making them rich just on a smaller scale compared with military hardware granted but hey volume $$$.

It is simple as this, fear. They have used it to control you for a long time and you don't see it still, the ironically named Patriot Act is a prime example.

More importantly If your child finds your fully loaded and prepared weapon and discharges it into a family member, is that worth it?

"Oh but its locked away secure" then you are not prepared for the knock on the door or your windows coming in are you..

"I know which neighbours I can count on and share my views", honestly stop and think about what you are saying. For some I would suggest if you want to see the enemy buy a mirror...
