While not claiming anything, isn't there a possibility that 'walking upon the waters' is a metaphor, meaning that one don't get drowned on the temptations of world? See for example the alchemistic conceptions of 'waters', meaning that water is not the element itself (h20), but meaning rather the fluctuating tendencies of human psychology.

Not a metaphor. There are historical documents, not the bible, from historians of the time period that recorded that many of Jesus miracles really did happen.. It was reported unbiasedly just like a newsman reports the news. It wasn't just the Christians who knew these miracles happened, it was reported through the then whole known world.

Anyways, you are entitled to your opinion. There is no objective ground to start debating this issue, so it would be wiser to let it be.

The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness, with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the universe dwells Wakan-Tanka , and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us.
I'm very open minded, I just consider religious to be basically insane and subhuman. Happy to discuss countless topics all day long with rational minds.
Why not answer you? Because it is pointless to argue with a 'believer' even more so about imaginary crap. Your aim is to enter into an exchange that you'll find reaffirming of your faith and enlightening while I'd find it batsh^t crazy. Best to ignore me and get back to basking in your Jesus faced euphoria. I'm not dodging you, making fun of lunacy is probably a more realistic assessment
If he was real in any way, the scriptures themselves make it clear that he was no more or less a son of the "father" than you or I.

Let's say for a minute that he did heal the sick, walk on water, and come back from the dead. In today's world, someone like that would most likely be called a demon.
Well, I personally don't think a demon would heal the sick, walk on water, resurrect, and among other things, say "love thy neighbor". "A good tree bears good fruit."
On another note, I'd rather say Son of Man than Son of God. I'm pretty fascinated with The Book of Enoch and why it was rejected but I think it points to Jesus as more of an angel selected by God to come to earth rather than the actual Son of God. We're all sons of God, IMO.
Peace and love my troubled friend

The fool has said their is no God, then comes death, then judgement.

I think when he said he was the son of God he was talking about everyone being children of God, then after he died everyone added supernatural embellishments to make him seem more like the Savior so everyone would convert. He was just an ordinary man who happened to be very very wise. Remember how he taught them to pray "Our Father" again reinforcing that we are all son's and daughters of God --- my interpretation is that Jesus wanted you to save yourself and stop waiting around for a Messiah that would never show up. But that idea goes over everyone's head because of the whole Solar Deity Resurrection thing.
The whole reason for wanting to be like Christ is so you can become your own Savior, that's what Communion is about too, it's sending the message that "the Savior is within". I think its been woefully misinterpreted. Stop waiting around for magical sky beings and help yourselves...

You obviously have it in for Christianity.
Is there any religion you like? Islam? Hinduism? Judaism? You don't make fun of them in your post.
