I am very glad you like it, AorAKI and Karl12.
Here is another collection that I suspect you might find nice to see - and possibly of help against the pest (or just pests).

Mimetoliths

(It's an old thread of mine, but hasn't been visible for ages.)

Oh, I agree!
And that's precisely why I later posted the link towards the mimetoliths thread.
If you haven't seen it yet... do.
And then let me know what you think of THAT. :-)

Back again, just for a kwik Thank you! I have been lost in a world of fantasy, otherwise known as Mimetoliths, the Gods surely are artists, using the sky as their canvases and chemistry to create sculptures so varied and wonderful. You have brightened up my day.
I am very grateful!
Sorry to leave in such a hurry, but still too much to see on the Mimetolith pages!!

Well, thanks; and I could say the same about you: I LOVE discussing the glories of nature, but rarely get the opportunity to do so (online, that is).

Hopefully, you will tell which mimetolith you liked the best, so we can discuss it some more... :-)

Hi Vanitas

I am still busy looking and it gets more and more difficult to pick ONE as a favourite, but your choice of the "Boiled Egg" is exceptional, I also do like the Tourmaline Candelabra, the Sea Horse...just too many!
Living in Namibia and enjoying all the crystals found here the crystals are probably going to stay top of my list. Paradise Island is exquisite!
Do you have any belief(s) when it comes to Crystals and Crystal Power?
Do you know the books by Melody? "Love is in the Earth - A Kaleidoscope of Crystals" which was her first is great! I had the good fortune of meeting her when she was in Namibia a couple of years back, wonderful lady and my signed copies of her books are now amongst my most prized possesions!

That's an interesting question... I wish it had a simple answer.

My - general - belief is that, since everything is vibration (to put it very prosaically), rocks are as much "alive" as anything else.
And so, their "vibrational field" may very well interact with ours.

Thank you very much for pointing me in the direction of that book; I had no idea that it existed.

If you are going to own a book on Crystals, written from a "New Age" (I hate the term) point of view it should be "Love is in the Earth", I own a number of Crystal Healing/Power etc etc books and that one is the most comprehensive I have found to date! I have her first three books, don't know if she has published any more, and they are my favourites!
Agreed, it is ALL about vibrations!

Ha, I hate the term myself - it's usually enough to make me roll my eyes...

But of course not all of it is fluff and airy-fairy bunk.
So, thanks for letting me know.
With so many books on the subject, it would be difficult to choose without an informed opinion.

Such lovely pictures. With all the rain we have had all day here, it helped to lighten my mood.
Think I will look them over more later.
