Every country goes through periods of revolution. Even though the united states started by revolution, it has yet to have it's round at it as an entity.

Sure, the civil war never ended -
This country is split in the same way still

I think it would be a POINTLESS waste of blood.

For one I would fight for change, but I will not fight along side people
who do not see the DANGER of the CORPORATE STATE. Since "FREE MARKET" principles
will be a objective of the "revolution"...

Just like history, typically half the peasants fight to protect the power structure, in this case it would be fighting the government, a government that is controlled by corporate means. Then the revolution shall grant the corporate more freedom to subvert the "new" version of the USA. In fact this principle is so basic, I feel this talk is not serious in trying to achieve freedom because it is the root of our problems.

Second I bet my hat people will be happy when the next Republican comes in, as I see this whole thing as a tantrum to some degree.

Movements can be just, shortsighted and spoilt at the same time-

Really so many attacks against Obama have been so ridiculous that everything starts to smell ridiculous, even if some are justifiable. So part of me feels this posturing is acting
out, like breaking dishes or punching a hole in the wall.

But have fun, you'll have the same corporate masters when you are done with your dance, they are the producers, like their feet kissed and they create jobs

Not all revolutions are bloody. The Soviet Union, the Berlin Wall, Eastern Europe were all brought down with relatively little blood.

I think yes.

And will it be a Majority, no. Here is why.
The Revolutionary war was fought by .675% of the population (27,000 out of 4mil)
I have alway said if you have 2 million, you can get it done and these number would hold up. 2,092,500 being .675% of 310 million. I think if things get started it will be closer to 6 to 8 million due to the fact it would be fought on many fronts around the counrty.

It would be easy to take DC and I have no doubt about that. What would not be easy, is how much our society has fallen off the wagon of morals. Those without them, will cause the biggest problems. Then the other faction is just like the Rev. War, you will have a percentage, 30 plus percent, that will be on the side of the Govt.
They will call you in, fight you, etc.
The "Majority", will either be too scared to even think, or will help with support away from the fighting.

It would be difficult at first because of land mass and population centers to move around without fear of the aforementioned "moral less" and Govt. supporters. The country would have to be "cleaned" out county by county, state by state.
And in the end, if there is a faction that really, truely wants to be controlled by a Govt., then you split a part of the country off, either East, or West, take your choice, but the boarders would have to be tight. East Germany style I guess.

So, like I have said many times before, give me 2 million, and I'll give you DC and take out said Govt. Until that happens, it is just riots in the streets when things get bad in the next coming months.

I am sorry but you seem young and confused at best.

First off, if we went back to the Constitution and the Original intent by the one's whom made it, Corporations did not and where not to exist in the manor they are now. They are suppose to be heavily regulated and watched over. It is the Govt. and the corruption that has gotten it where it is. A small business as a "person" cannot compete with a large business as a "person" that does not die, and for the most part has no liability.

I feel this talk is not serious in trying to achieve freedom because it is the root of our problems.

Now you show that you are part of the Problem, not the cure. This would be called a Communist and a few other choice terms. I guess we know what the "Red" in your name stands for.

You contradict yourself. First you say that "so many attacks against Obama" are ridiculous, then you talk about the corporate masters.

That's true but do you think the "New American Revolution" will spill "relatively little blood?"

From what I read here on ATS with all the keyboard warriors chomping at the bit to get out their shootin irons and storm Washington; it will get very bloody, very fast, degenerating into a race war and chaos. Roving bands of militia with no real leaders, no real battle plan or coordination, more than likely fighting each other for turf and resources.

In the new Revolution who are the leaders and what exactly is the goal and how do you achieve it? How do you stem the tide of racism, random violence and revenge into a cohesive fighting force?

In the first American Revolution, there was a defined enemy. Now just exactly how do you define the perceived enemy and what do they look like?

As I said before, nothing will happen. Even the wanna be warriors are fat and lazy; heart attacks and coronaries waiting to happen; and more interested in being entertained than revolting. Even this macho cyber revolt talk is just fantasy and entertainment. I do think however there are groups in the woods training but I doubt if their intentions are true revolution and return to the constitution.

Without a strategy and a plan, you aint got jack ****!!!

True change must first be exercised thru the ballot box at a local level and progress to the top of the pyramid. This was not an unintentional reference.

What America NEEDS to do is get Wall Street execs out of Congress. Yes, many of your politicians are greedy liars but it's Wall Street that currently governs your land. They even got to Obama before he won office because they helped fund his campaigns. So now he is obligated to 'tow to line'.

Australia is in recession too but we didn't bail out private companies with tax payers money. The vote to do this in the US was a resounding NO, but they passed the bill a few weeks later anyway using scare tactics. THIS is when the people should have all said NO MORE!!! It goes against you constitution for goodness sake!!

There is a foreclosure on a house in the US every 7 seconds and yet these same banks - that were bailed out by YOU...yes YOU the US taxpayer...will not help people who have lost their jobs or are having trouble paying their mortgage because of illness etc. That is criminal. These same banks were also NOT accountable to your treasury as to what they used the money for...thus we saw bonuses for executives being given out all over with the bailout money. That alone would be enough to drive some people to insanity.

Guys...if there is NOT some sort of revolution in the US I would think the average American no longer cares. Revolution doesn't have to mean guns and military style wars...it means saying NO in force. Look what happened in the past with marches on Washington re Vietnam etc. Everyone not working for a few days or paying taxes or putting savings into banks (or taking them out). Everyone in the country who isn't wealthy (99% apparently) going on strike for couple of days...it would hold the country to ransom. I would do it if things were that bad here. We have so much power but we never use it.

I know it's not an easy solution, and you guys all seem to bag people like Mike Moore out for trying to HELP people see what is happening to your country and why this EXTREME AGGRESSIVE CAPITALISM destroys the foundation of democracy. Being wealthy by making money from tangible services and industries that actually give us something is a great thing...but making money from NOTHING (eg gambling on stocks and other peoples misery through foreclosures etc) is why things have changed.

There is no sense of community any more and rich people don't put money back into education, health etc like they used to when they made their wealth through industry etc. Capitalism in a proper democrasy is fine but EXTREME AGGRESSIVE CAPITALISM where the wealthy tell the politicians what to do is not.

I hope something happens soon...or what WILL happen is the people who have lost everything they have will come take what they need from you...because they have no other choice

Yeah, how do you tell the politicians from guys that sell cars or work in a bank.
When the shtf do you think all the politicians are going to start wearing a badge that says "hey kill me, I'm a bureaucrat"??

Are you going to kill the mayor of my village or members of the village counsel? They're not corrupt, they have the interest of the citizens at heart.
They're Politicians. How exactly are you going to define the "enemy?"

You CAN'T..........That's the problem with all this adolescent, macho, swaggering, BS. You are just a kid poser with no concept of reality, who doesn't even know the difference between they're and there. Sadly many so called adults have your mindset also; that reality is somehow reflected in a video game or the www.

God help us!!

Why do you want special treatment on not being judged? You don't seem to have any trouble judging people and politicians in general by calling them ALL corrupt. BTW, I have been an elected official at the local level and I was not corrupt. I resent your blanket statement and consider it insulting.

so.........
