I just listened to this and I felt its meaning. I think you would have to be a true believer to understand the depth of it.

I was moved by it, almost to tears actually.

I wonder if he is a David Bowie fan? I felt a slight connection.

This is an old thread so glad peeps are still contributing. Seems funny after this thread, Robbie made amends with his band members and married his good lady, Ayda. So his luck is going strong. Hope they write more songs about the supernatural to keep us spiritually awake?

Yes it seems to be the way, if someone writes something you can relate to it can be quite touching.
But to write something about a subject matter in order to “wake” people up would be incredible.

I find the UK group Muse to be a group de force with their songs on New World Order etc... especially the song, Knights of Cydonia. I picture all the latest news from the Middle East, Egypt, Libya etc... are the sentiments used in this song that the freedom fighters themselves could chant...?
