Scientology completely aside, I agree with what Hubbard says here. For anyone interested in a much more technical, in depth study in this very direction you could read General Semantics by Alfred Korzybski, or Quantum Psychology by Robert Anton Wilson. Both titles will offer explanations that I have neither the time, patience, skill, knowledge or even inclination to attempt.

The ideology met with such dislike is not the piont of argument here but the fact of recovering past memories to have them refiled as experience is. What is so wrong with using a method to recover past incidents within someones life to there betterment? we have over shot the target of psychology the unconscious or reactive mind.

This then is the peculiarity of theta that it has to have affinity, reality, and communication to survive. These then are the laws of emotion or life force. The reactive bank serves only to inhibits these laws.
