Of course there are normal con-trails, and they dissipate evenly from their furthest coldest point in the trail and go away, from what I've noticed in all the decades I've been observing air traffic. (and I'll add in varying degrees given the atmospheric conditions)
Chem-tails on the other hand, hang and suspend for great lengths of time and seemingly widen/thicken/join/blanket the sky. They do not dissipate, they behave like a particulate, or induced product, they are less affected by wind, (resist deformity and influence) and "to my eye" look completely different than any con-trail or cloud I've viewed.
I do not have a problem with anyone denying to themselves that they exist, just as I dont have a problem with myself being aware that they are there.
I'm interested in what they are, for obvious reasons, health, protection if needed, general awareness. To me, theyre worth study.
If they are not important to others, perhaps like yourself, then abandon the dispute. Why get frustrated or upset over another person (s) belief.
Prove to me they are an unfactual cause for concern, OR allow those who are studying and attempting to figure it out, continue to do so.
Maybe you will be the one to solve it all, seriously, I'm not being facetious,
you seem equally focused on it as well.

I don't feel like anybody will be able to make a true believer think any differently, but I tend to look at these things from a common sense point of view. I don't have any expertise in the area of chemically induced anything, so what I know is just what I see. but if the bad man was spraying things on an unsuspecting public to do lord knows what, wouldn't that bad man be concerned for his immediate family? then there are all the other people who would have to be involved. The fuelers, the pilots, the maintenance crew. These people all have families and the majority of them would be on the low end of the pay scale. They would have no incentive to keep this monstrous secret.

So we come down to the fact that "chemtrails" seem to form when the conditions are perfect for long lived con trails. there is even a thread put out by Ozweatherman about this, and he is willing to interpert the local data to tell you why you might see these things in the sky at certain times. Now he obviously has and agenda since he is on the side of Science. But his data can be cross checked with anyone willing to go the extra few inches.here is that thread. In it, anybody in Northeast Ohio could take pictures of what they see and post them with the time and date, and he will look up the upper atmosphere data to tell you if it is normal.

I grew up in a suburb of Cleveland and still have most of my family there, so I do have a vested interest in making sure they aren't getting poisoned by the bad man. I just don't think that is the way "they"are going to get us.

The fact is I haven't seen one honest to god thing that would make me believe you are 100% correct. If a contrail dissipates quickly then apparently every single plane flying over my house is spraying because on some days I see these contrails and they last for quite some time. You are telling me that these aren't contrails I am seeing?

No I am sorry just because you say I am denying doesn't make your position any stronger

Persistent and spreading contrails are known phenomena and have been studied for quite a while.

It is often observed that contrails spread considerably beyond the initial width defined by the outward extension of the wing-tip vortices. Under favorable conditions, a lateral spread of kilometers is observed with presumably comparable vertical spreading. If sufficient air carrier traffic exists, and entire overcast of contrail cirrus may develop and persist for hours with the rapid growth in the ice budget of individual contrails.

Sounds pretty much like what you describe. The paper was written in 1971. Have a look, there's some good science in it.

I can confirm they've been spraying today (Monday) and yesterday in the Chicago area. This is the first time in many months in fact. I wonder why all of a sudden.

It doesn't seem they follow any pattern. I've seen Chem trails every month, during clear blue skies and partly cloudy skies and all hours of the day.

I saw them too I live near Willoughby and they were pretty good size chemtrails I didnt even think of taking pics but I was running late for work. What I did notice though was a plane flying around 30k feet looked like a commercial airliner and it had little to no vapor trail behind it but these other chemtrails they were rather large and went on as far as i could see in the sky. Man I wish i would've taken pics

At least Weather.gov is nice enough to provide and air quality/ fog warning.

South-West Ohio was nothing but over cast. Nothing but blue-purple tinted natural looking clouds here, with the constant sound of jets over head, lovely day for an evening walk in a rural area that looks like China's pollution had just rolled over it... just blame China for all the sudden bad air quality.

That's it, we paid China to dump their air pollution on the Midwest! Of course!

You are making a lot of assumptions going from seeing some stuff in the air behind an airplane, to then accusing someone of poisoning you. Would you really try and shoot these planes down with surface to air missiles if you had them? How do you know which planes are poisoning you and which ones are just flying commercial planes? You really feel comfortable killing someone you don't even know what their intentions or purpose is?

Except its likely not just to poison and they lack the capability of keeping it quite. But you said "IF". So IF I was king of the moon, I would be king... of the moon, thats a fact.

I'd be more worried that without any evidence there are accusations of intended poisonings (Where none have been ever reported beyond anecdotal and even they stretch the imagination) and yet the OP would willingly, as suggested, shoot down pilots with Surface to Air missiles.

I saw a man once, he looked shifty, I rekon he was going to stab me.. Wish I'd had a gun, to shoot him first... But oops, I didn't get stabbed.. Still, better to be safe than sorry!
