I know what you mean about being wary of mentioning it incase you change the outcome. That's the worry I have about openly talking about the dream I had in May which still hasn't happened.

With my dreams and other info that I recieve, often it it has some sort of connection to me, sometimes very much so. In fact there was a murder here a few years ago. My daughter was frequenting this place and I was getting very concerned and uncomfortable with her going there. I was also getting stuff about a girl being murdered. This went on for months before it happened. In hindsight I can see that I began being concerned about my daughter going to this place just when this murderer turned up and started working there.

None of the above happened in dreams, just strong "knowing". And although I should have put 2 + 2 together, I didn't make the connection until it happened. At least my daughter wasn't his victim. BTW, nowadays whenever I come out with this stuff they listen! Also, my son is starting to experience precog stuff too.

I would say that these "dreams" have an altogether different feel to them. Also I remember details vividly and I can recall them vividly years later. Not something that happens with normal dreams.

I would say, yes it's just something you are born with. However there are so many people saying that they are purposly trying LD and Astral Travel.
It's just always happened to me.

Who was it said in an earlier post that they tried putting a huge magnet under their pillow to inhance it, LMAO, I can't imagine getting any sleep, never mind dreaming with something like that under my pillow!

Ah, now thats strange, because I also get waking premonitions & my daughter has since her mid teens. She's 21 now, but so far hasn't mentioned any dreams proving true. But I've heard a few people say this kind of thing skips a generation. Eg. my grandma could tell when there were problems in the family without being told & she used to do pretty well on the horses too, but my mum has always claimed to have no weird ability. I think Calstorm may be right about it being something people are born with tho.
My son got nothing it seems.

It was a guy I used to know swore by the magnet for LD! I know: bizarre! I had to give it a go tho.
It wasn't uncomfortable, as it was a big flat disc - off the back of a blown 1KW woofer. Didn't do a bloody thing for me...
People do report learning to go lucid & out of body tho, eh? I'm not ready to call them liars, as I know I've got better at making it happen & choosing to stay in it. When it 1st began, the strangeness would strike me & I'd wake up.
Yeah, I remember precog dreams perfectly well too. Calstorm, that difference in the feel of the dream started out quite subtle for me. Just a kind of intensity in the moment but, at the same time, a slight detachment, sort of being consciously aware of staring out from behind my own eyes, if that makes any sense! It was only as I started to write stuff down about the way the experiences happened that I got a really good handle on it.

I would guess that it has more to do with what type of person you are rather than running in families. Also, as I said before, there seems to be more people getting info from the internet and trying techniques to develop it.

From personal experience I'd say things are ramping up. I think more and more people will develop their "psychic. I hope so, that way those of us who naturally experience these things won't feel so isolated.

I personally feel that I've traded in my Foresight for more of a Present Sense. I don't entirely feel that I'm quite old enough to fully Realize what I can do though. Of Course, that might just be a Misconception on my Part.

On the subject of the Magnet thingy. Are we all not surrounded by Magnetic Fields? Whether from the our Planet or from Electrical Charge.

that are very precise visions, i have that but not so detailed like abt phone etc, normally its visions about future events, like months or so, but when i connected with outer person i can see immediate detailed visions as whats going at present time, but for me only - its all futuristic, months, years or so

probably it is depends what are you interests about ?

and do you feel like you are being sucked out of an energy and it is more a lethargic dream, when you experience that ? (my case)

this comes like a wave and you would go to sleep in a middle of the day for no reason ?

Perhaps you've actually lived through the event and then dreamed about it but remembered it in the opposite order so that it seemed as if you predicted what was about to happen before it did

I sometimes dream the future upto 3 years, never less than four weeks and usually I don't remember it until it happens and the outcome normally changes from something disastrous to something mundane e.g. I once visited a ww1 battlefield in France where unexploded shells are sometimes found, and as a result some fields are blocked off for human access but are used for sheep grazing. In the dream I was having this conversation when a sheep stepped on an unexploded shell, triggering it to explode. In real life, nothing happened except me worrying a bit.
