Not totally true. I remember in my 'l33thaxor' days I would play around with VNC programs. Leave a VNC server on a 'friends' computer, open the viewer on mine, and cause hell. Changing the desktop would be as easy as right clicking an image and clicking 'use image as desktop background'

Though, I doubt that happened in this case.

I think this is a sure sign that-

You do NOT have a Mac.

I know it can be a little jarring, .... but I can think of much worse things changing " by themselves" in the middle of the night.

For instance, what would one think if you woke up with different underwear ???

I'd wonder who I got lucky with, and why I couldn't remember.
But, that's just me.

i986.photobucket.com...

I hope this works, as I have never used photobucket before. Here is the link to the bitmap of my screensaver.

ok, it took a few tries, and please, before you say " there is nothing there", you need to view it at an angle to see it, as it is white on off-white.

Good job getting the screen shot up there...

It looks like you've been invited by Rothschild and Rockefeller to join the council on foreign relations and the new world order.

Seriously , though, I've seen Norton/Symantec crap software do this but it's many many years ago.

Go to your desktop properties where you set the screen saver (or is it your wallpaper that's affected?) and what's the filename that you see?

Norton Navigator would change the wallpaper on Windows 95 machines to it's own 'clouds' version. I'd get alot of irrate calls about that when I worked there.

Anyhow, it sure does look like something Norton/Symantec would do...

If it changes into a circle of a snake biting it's tale ... I'm just sayin'...
